I came back to God during my 30's, only to backslide again. I am back to God now for good, for about 7 years. This is dangerous territory. Defend your faith but watch that you don't lose the spirit of love and grace. People have their reasons, often very personal, why they don't believe. Ask God for words to speak, ask for wisdom. Unless someone has experienced an encounter with God for themself, why would they believe?

Also if the lord does recreate one supernatually after being born again, and if he/she is a "brand new creation" (where in the good book may I locate this?) then if he/she was to stop accepting the love of the lord how could they no longer be given the love of the lord because if it is in the bible then it can not be undone due to dogmatic law?

@Poisonapplefarm No one or no thing can take away a person's Born Again status, once he is Born Again, BUT a person can back away from it, on his own, and stop believing. God is not going to force anyone into heaven, because it is by FAITH that we are saved, and this is ONGOING faith, not a one time burst of faith, that saves you. There are a lot of different places in the New Testament that tell us we must hold on to what we believe (about Jesus), until the end (the end of our lives).

The Bible says he is a brand new creation, this time from the inside out! Yes there is evidence in the Book of Job, that the devil must get permission from God to attack us, if we are indeed VERY CLOSE to GOD! We have to accept BY FAITH, that God behaves like He says He does in the Bible. He doesn't reveal everything in the Bible, but only what we need to know to help us live our lives to the fullest. When a person becomes Born Again, he gets a supernatural connection to God, and the Holy Spirit witnesses to his spirit that what the Bible says is indeed real and true!
