i put the emulator elf file in and made a folder called snes roms with the ziped roms in it but it says there is no rom directory

yes, just burn uLaunch to a cd and a modded PS2 should play the cd so you can launch the SNES emulator.

I got the elf file to boot from my mass device but i nothing shows up after the credits for the first time i run it, the song in the back round keeps playing but it doesnt show mc0 mc1 or any other directories after the credits. Any ideas?

Just so you know, the so called "Lost Levels" was actually Super Mario 2 in Japan. Nintendo of America thought it looked too much like Super Mario Brothers 1, so they took a game called Doki Doki Panic from Japan, replaced the characters and called it Super Mario Brothers 2.

You use to be able to run snes on ps3 until Sony patched it but, you can still runs tons of emulators on linux

I don't have any other emulator on ps1. Few months ago I try to make a Commodore 64 emulator to ps1, but don't work it.

If you have ps2 too, you can emulate SNES, NES, Sega Megadrive and C64 games.
