Hey, don't be a fool. I hate to rain on your parade here but you're wrong. There will only be 170 new cars in GT5, all with premium interior and damage, however the rest of the 830 cars are carried over from GT4.
GT5 also has less tracks then Forza 3. With an estimated 80+ tracks.
Also, Forza 3 has car customization as well as tunning. GT5 only has tunning.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm a GT fan as much as I am a Forza fan. Just don't go blurting out false information in a cocky manner.

GT5 has 27 different locations while Forza 3 has 24. Sadly, it looks like to me that this time Forza failed. I liked Forza 2 in general because it had realism, and it wasn't just another arcade game. This car is far fro Arcade :/ It has the ame physics from Forza 2, And you dont have to use the Rewind. i hink you can even turn it off like the other stuff in the Difficulty Settings.

If IGN said that they're wrong. Every car will have cockpits, but only some with have damage. I'm not here to change your mind about GT, it's a great series. But PC sims are well beyond the consoles sims and Forza is about the same as GT. To say one is way better than the other isn't being realistic about the situation.
If you are into Rally racing Richard Burns Rally is the best out there. But it's starting to get harder to find. Same with Daytona 2003, another great sim but getting hard to find.

We just started a new clan named Team Apex. The clan will be active on Forza 3. The goal is to attract fair races, and to have our own custom tournaments within the clan. It will only work if we have lots of serious members who are willing to spend some time to the clan. All nationalities allowed, only thing is you must be a fair racer and speak proper english. No site yet because that needs time, but it will come!

There are bits that are metal that can mae the sparks such as the wheels. And i cant accept your comment on attention to detail. This game is one of the most detailed racing games made. The physics of the car have been made so they are exact so it is a driving simulator game. Plus every real life track is exact down to the last milimiter. And yor moning about a few sparks comming from a car that has a plastic body. Also the underneth of the car is metal so that is where they came from.

You dont now what our talking about. A game isnt better because it has more cars that you will never use. Forza 3 has the best suited cars for their stlyes of gameplay. Plus it would take them an age to get a load more cars in with all the phsics and technical stuff so the car drives like it does in real life. Forza 3 would have to be spread over about 3-4 disks though if it had 1000 cars as its over 2 disks allready. I think the topgear test track on gt5 will be brilliant though. But it will be quite a tight call between the two games. Just aslong as the verdicts are deliverd by fanboys then it should be close.
You have to ask yourself is there really any competition between the two and the answer is no. Already just by viewing the trailers GT5 is in a class of its own and will be upon release. Lets also not forget GT5 will also have tracks such as monaco and as u said the top gear test track, which Forza 3 cannot boast..
Although another reason why there isnt realy any compettition is because they are on different consoles so people that only have 360 would by forza and people that only have ps3 woould get gt5. But gt5 has its background and is established and forza 3 is getting to become established. It might swing in gt5's favour but forza 3 has been said by the racing drivers that have played it to be as close to driving the actual car your going to get on a video game.

I'm not stating which game is more superior as I don't care seeing as I'm getting both. But like I said, Forza 3 offers more modern cars, where as GT5 offers a nice amount of modern and various other old models.
Now I never said 1000 cars is worse then the 400 Forza will offer. I just happen to like more of the cars Forza is putting up.
Both games have their pro's and con's. And luckily for me, I'm getting both so I don't care which is more superior. I was just stating facts ;)

@XxSpawnPoint why r u lying GT5 has an extra 200 cars in unbelieveable graphics while Forza 3 has an extra 51 cars. 51 WHAT THE FUCK WERE TURN 10 DOING. GT5 has 27 different locations while Forza 3 has 24. The only reason Forza has more variations is cuz of two tracks benchmark and proving ground which have over 30 variations and between them and are just simple shapes. Your the one who is clearly blurting out false information.

Sadly, it looks like to me that this time Forza failed. I liked Forza 2 in general because it had realism, and it wasn't just another arcade game. I hate how they copied Racedriver GRID with the rewind ability. They only reason I wanted to buy FM3 is because I have never played a decent racing game that has the nissan silvia s13, lol. Yes it sounds pathetic but I would buy a game just so I could drive that fucking car. FM3 was my last reason to keep my 360. I should probably buy the real car.

This car is far fro Arcade :/ It has the ame physics from Forza 2, And you dont have to use the Rewind. i hink you can even turn it off like the other stuff in the Difficulty Settings.

The GT games are the shittest driving games ever how realistic is it when you can wins races by hiting the walls on the courners at 180 mph to keep your speed up and get no damage shit just shit the cars sound like they havent improved since GT 1 PS3 owners are only jealous because they have to play shit like this while 360 owers can enjoy ultra realistic games like this.

I would want to drive a smart car, cuz i don't have a real one and i want to see how it would do in the track. GT5 is going to add cars through updates for FREE (not counting the 1000 already) like spoon cars, mugen, you get the point. Customization? No problem. GT4 already had some, who said GT5 wouldn't? Even GT5P had a little but that was just a taste of the real game.

You obviously aren't a guy who plays sim racers. If you think GT is a sim and Forza isn't...it tells me that you haven't played PC racers that destroy both games. Hence you are a console fanboy.
Fact is Forza as a sim racer is well beyond Gran Turismo. Better tire based physics model, damage that takes into account aero damage and not only engine/suspension damage, much better online setup, better upgrade and tuning, much better sound effects, the list goes on and on.

You my friend are just too smart (sarcasm). If i was a pc gamer, i wouldn't touch consoles at all, but this is the thing, my pc isn't powerful enough to run games so "smoothly". It can barely play L4D! and REAL pro drivers say themselves that GT simply feels better than all other racing games. Tracks are more realistic, physics (especially now, that we are getting damage and we won't bounce off walls anymore) cars, statistics (i don't like forza's), graphics, GT is god of racing games

Wow, you're pretty clueless. Most real racers use PC sims, not GT. In fact Ferrari's sims are well beyond anything available to consumers. Interestingly Turn 10 did get a lot of data from Ferrari in making FM3. By the way, you still bounce off walls and other cars in GT5.

I heard that all cars are getting damage from ign and youtube (of course). and to be 100% completely honest, if i HAD a 360 then i would get Forza BUT i DONT have a 360 and nothing can change my mind on how i feel about GT. and i played Forza 2 before and i disliked it but that doesn't mean i won't like forza 3

If IGN said that they're wrong. Every car will have cockpits, but only some with have damage. I'm not here to change your mind about GT, it's a great series. But PC sims are well beyond the consoles sims and Forza is about the same as GT. To say one is way better than the other isn't being realistic about the situation.

rFactor, Live for Speed, and iRacing are great.
GTR2 is great as well.
If you are into Rally racing Richard Burns Rally is the best out there. But it's starting to get harder to find. Same with Daytona 2003, another great sim but getting hard to find.

ok, so all the Gran Turismo people that keep saying, "oh, Forza 3 only has 400 cars"...for one, the game SHIPS with 400 cars, there will be many many more when they start making DLC for it, not to mention new tracks and stuff of that nature. 400 cars is fine with me, i beat forza 2 and barely have 100 cars, so the need for 1,000 cars is retarded....most of them will be absolutely useless, and are just in the game because they can be.

yeah i know right, and you have to think of it this way, the only reason the car count is so high is because they have different years of the exact same car such as...01' S2000, 02' S2000, 03' S2000 and so on....plus Nascars, Rally Cars, and Le Mans Cars will take up alot of the space....theres going to be a ton of race cars....which is why I like Forza, theyre geared more toward tuning, customization, and manufacture cars with limited amounts of race cars. JDM means Japanese Domestic Motors; imported the engine from Japan.
That guy said "JDM RB26" as if it's a different engine than any other RB26DETT.
But the RB26 is derived from Porsche, so technically, it's more of a Porsche engine than a Nissan.

There are bits that are metal that can mae the sparks such as the wheels. And i cant accept your comment on attention to detail. This game is one of the most detailed racing games made. The physics of the car have been made so they are exact so it is a driving simulator game. Plus every real life track is exact down to the last milimiter. And yor moning about a few sparks comming from a car that has a plastic body. Also the underneth of the car is metal so that is where they came from.

You dont now what our talking about. A game isnt better because it has more cars that you will never use. Forza 3 has the best suited cars for their stlyes of gameplay. Plus it would take them an age to get a load more cars in with all the phsics and technical stuff so the car drives like it does in real life. Plus there werent even cock pit view in forza 2 so you wouldnt even see the interiors in f2.

Forza 3 would have to be spread over about 3-4 disks though if it had 1000 cars as its over 2 disks allready. I think the topgear test track on gt5 will be brilliant though. But it will be quite a tight call between the two games. Just aslong as the verdicts are deliverd by fanboys then it should be close.

You have to ask yourself is there really any competition between the two and the answer is no. Already just by viewing the trailers GT5 is in a class of its own and will be upon release. Lets also not forget GT5 will also have tracks such as monaco and as u said the top gear test track, which Forza 3 cannot boast..

Although another reason why there isnt realy any compettition is because they are on different consoles so people that only have 360 would by forza and people that only have ps3 woould get gt5. But gt5 has its background and is established and forza 3 is getting to become established. It might swing in gt5's favour but forza 3 has been said by the racing drivers that have played it to be as close to driving the actual car your going to get on a video game.
