  • that is inspiring. I am an independent hand drawn artist myself. i just made a 3 min short too check it out. It is in the video response section. entitled Hand drawn animation the body in motion. I needed 705 images for it. but took me months....

  • Looks like it's done on paper... just draw stuff (keeping it registered), scan it in, and arrange it in After Effects... or just capture it frame by frame with a DV cam.

  • yep. a still image of each sheet of paper was put into an editor and rendered out as a flim

  • great job - are you familiar with ToonBoom? I think you would enjoy its capabilities and it would dramatically cut down on time to animate without losing quality.

  • yeah, there is 750 individual hand drawn images, each of them taken by a camera. took about a total of 40 hours
