I agree with Shannon and Lyba. They seem to have a lot of knowledge of this generation of children. This generation is growing up fast, it is very scary. I believe it is due to societal input in children's lives (media and peers) and the fact that parents do not know how to or have time to explain sex and to prevent it occuring until a proper age. 1. its not about teaching the pleasures of masturbation, but about teaching children not to feel ashamed of it (as the religious right would have it)

2. anal sex and oral sex are as "normal" as vaginal sex (for both males and females), and teens need to know the dangers so if they can do it safely

3. teaching fifth or six graders about homosexuality will prevent high school discrimination. children need to know there is nothing wrong with being gay. it's perfectly normal
