  • bravo i love it

  • only 855 w?

  • wonderful and accurate=)

  • If I could play the piano like you...

  • nice interpretation !! Check out mine: youtube.com/watch?v=jgjEtWdOVMs

  • I like you.

  • lol, thanks.

  • You play this piece very very well.

My favourite part is the "con fuoco" part.

It's really hard to play especially when you want to play it really fast like some pianist use to do. But you play it very very "clear", wihich is much more important than speed. I can hear every note. Great job!!!! Great interpretation!!!

  • Nice sound balance and musicianship overall. A little suggustion; try to breathe with the phrases & slightly relax wrist. Still, great job!

  • Thanks for the compliment. More recently, I've realized that my breathing has become more apparent and that it goes with the music now. And I definitely agree that I need to relax my wrist, I've had that problem for a long time, and I'm working on it. So thanks for the suggestions, I'll definitely keep them in mind.

  • The Pianist!

  • what would you say was a harder piece? Hungarian rhapsody or Ballade?

  • well, the Hungarian Rhapsody is about 10 pages longer, written by Liszt, and considered by many to be a virtuoso piece.

i felt like i never actually completed the Hungarian Rhapsody because i could never play it at a fast enough tempo. so, to me, the Hungarian Rhapsody is much harder.

  • from the looks of it, i would say the hungarian rhapsody no 2 BY FAR

...thats a piece if never wanna touch :P

  • it may look like they're taking a beating, but i assure you that my fingers were okay afterwards :)

    thanks for the concern though!

  • Very Nice job dude!

I expect to here more pieces from you.

  • Thanks! I have a few videos up already, if you haven't seen those and would like to. But I'll definitely upload some more.

  • 8:44 you karate chop the piano

  • XD

hahaha, thats what one of my friends said about me playing that part.

  • dude!!! how long did it take you to learn this? i need to know please, i'd appreciate it.

  • about three or four months. it's not a horribly hard piece, if thats what youre wondering. its just a bit long. but if you have enough will to learn and play the whole thing, you'll get there. good luck

  • Thanks, I enjoyed your performance :).

  • Very nice! Honestly, I wouldn't be able to tell if it were sloppy or not.

  • Ahhh, it's far from what I am capable of. I just eventually gave up because a few nine minute run throughs can be quite mentally exhausting. I just wish I had recorded a more recent performance at Steinway Hall in NYC. It was on a much better piano and inside a historic site. Quite the experience. Thank you for the nice compliment though!

  • Oh, btw, when I said "performance at Steinway Hall," I meant an unscheduled performance (but honestly, more like a try out on an awesome grand piano in the main hall) in front of family members and a few strangers. It wasn't like an actual performance. Didn't mean to mislead if I did. :P
