  • can't be comparable at all...

  • I'd have the alfa any day

  • VB-H is simply a whore who can power slide a car but doesn't understand anything tangible in cars

  • ... marry me?

  • you are joking saying mazda is better, alfa is drivers car, the sound, the power, steering, brakes and looks...

  • 1.3 vs 3.2

    RX8 Rockss

  • OK if you are a real man buy the Alfa

  • @MKBoyardee: You'r like a sheep... just follow other sheeps but don't have any idea what you'r doing.. RX8 more reliable??? The RX8 is a very cool car, reason i don't buy it is because the lack of reliability.. The engine won't hold it for much longer than 100.000km's. If you'r lucky. The looks, just a matter of taste, and the compensating thing... Just as much as the RX8. Both are unique, desirable car's. Both with stronger and weaker points.

  • @residay You're as dumb as morgman43. You both know nothing of rotaries and have obviously never owned one in your lives. Have fun driving your civic with the awe-inspiring VTEC

  • Alfa Romeo = For people with heart and soul.

  • Everyone says it is a 1.3 litre engine. Except it uses more fuel than that alfa does. 1.3 litre rotary my ass. And to only win by 0.3 of a second isn't anthing to cheer about. Bring out an RX7 anyday

  • look at 0:23 the propaganda for rx8 that the video is damaged...

  • Wow that alfa is just amazingly ugly. How can people think that looks good... It looks bloated to me.

  • First this alfa has 17" wheels which means it has 205/40 tires insted of the original V6 18" wheel which has 225/40 and that gives it alot more grip and stability in the corners. I know cause i got a GT 3.2 V6 and both sets of tires/wheels...

  • @MrStoffe91 can i have your car?

  • What do these guys expect... it's a 1.3 against a 3.2.... Good job mazda!

  • 1:32 ..does she drives with the handbrake on?

  • So you can buy an expensive Italian car whose brand is infamous for poor reliability, that has an ugly beak on the front, microscopic lights at the back, and it's a "I'm compensating for something else" car.

The RX-8 is more reliable, more practical, more tossable, has better handling, has a reputation for being very fun to drive, and doesn't look like you're buying it to look cool.

  • @MKBoyardee "The RX-8 is more reliable" Utter nonsense! You need only look at how many RX8s are for sale for peanuts needing major engine rebuilds to see how 'reliable' these cars are. Wankel engines are and will always be a flawed and unreliable design. I'm not going to say the Alfa is bullet proof, but the RX8 is terrible. Only one for sale with over 100k on the clock and it says in the advert it had a brand new engine 20k ago. I love the RX8, but I wouldn't buy one no matter how cheap.

  • @morgman43 You, sir, are a moron. The RX-8 doesn't have a reliability problem. The earlier models had a weak starter and an oil pump which didn't inject enough oil to keep the apex and other seals lubricated. This has all been addressed in the S2 and R3 models, not to mention Mazda released an ECU flash which recalibrated the OMP and made it inject more oil. You can also get your starter replaced. That, combined with proper knowledge of rotary maintenance, makes the RX-8 as reliable as any car.

  • Tiff Needell tested that Mazda Rx-8 earlier and he loved it! Including it's gearbox, driving position and steering. Go back to kichen, Vicki ...

  • I don't cae witchone is quicker, i know that alfa has 4 WD and can be used even in snow. Overall the alfa is better

That can not be sayd about any other sport car. Alfa is not just eyecandy as the Brittish media let you believe.

It is also passive safer than the mazda

  • your alfa can suck it :D and 0.38s is a diference not big but diferent and mazda looks way better than alfa and it's more manuverable so it's better in every way :D

  • 1:30, is the handbrake on? seems quite high, i dont have a rx8 so i have no idea

  • imo fron of rx - 8 is way better than alfa

  • fifth gear is shit top gear all the way

  • hahaha...kidding???alfas got the best handlings and gt looses from rx8???come on!!!this is totall fake,,i drive my alfa a lot better

  • @airgiorgos Alfas have good handlings yes, but not the best.. Alfa GT shares its chasis and suspension with 156, which wasn't the best handling car in its class either (which was mondeo IIRC). RX-8, on the other hand is built from scratch as a sports car. But does it matter? I would still buy GT anyway, RX-8 just looks ugly.

  • @airgiorgos did you have both of them? how can you say which one is better? I had alfa romeo GTV, after that alfa GT for few months and now i've got RX-8 and man.... rx-8 kicks alfas all the way! I still love alfa romeo, these cars got soul and they are beautiful, i am not hater... rx 8 is better...

  • I hate Rotary engines! X(

  • @dacarfreak2000 why?

  • Alfa wins the beauty contest, the japs don't do style and thats a known fact....

  • Style comes from Italy, Alfa romeo wins the beauty contest, alfa's don't rust before

the bile is spewed they have been galvanised since the mid '90's, they are also

reliable if service properly, (cut corners pay later, i think that may apply to most cars) The Twinsparks were a masterpiece with their variable valve twincam heads and 2 spark plugs per cylinder, a real drivers car...Forza Alfa romeo..

Alfa is not a car, it's a religion and boy does it get under the skin..

  • how its possoble to try to compare an alfa with a mazda?...the mazda is way more developed then the alfa...has more tecnologie

  • @aifodasse ; Wrong most new engine technology has come from the Italians in

the last 30 years especially Fiat, who revolutionalised diesel engine tec.

Alfa who introduced V-tec to mass produced cars, years before Honda..

Fiat's new MultiAir engines, ie 1.4 turbo 180bhp and 48mpg, the italians are the

masters of engine tec, try reading about other brands not just japanese and

    then post some real facts.....

  • 2:10 Time for a quick one=))

  • Bitch can't drive

  • With Mazda you can expect long life without technical problems(well-knowned japanese reliability). With an Alfa( or all italian car) you can't expect a goof reliability. Italian car are not built to last(especially inside(dashboard, plastics,etc...) electrical problems,...)

    I speak from experience...

  • @shion99999 not really the Mazda isn't all that reliable

  • alfa looks nice

    but FWD alfa sux alot

thats why its slower then the rx8

alfa should build more cars with RWD to compete with other

  • why do the japanese not call it wankel, he thought of it, at least give him credit, its like not calling a diesel car a diesel

  • ALFA GT PURE SEX

    MAZDA RX8 VERY SHIT

  • The Alfa GT 3.2 V6 is the best!

  • Both cars are very beautifull....

The Alfa is not much better, you just have another taste of design. See the vid, the Mazda is better in the corners en in a straight way. Don't get me wrong, the Alfa is also a beauty, but you have to be realistic. The RX8 is the winner on the road and the Alfa is the winner on eyecandy.

  • @DJFreshSkillZ The real question is would you rather turn up to a party in style in an Alfa and impress straight away or turn up to a party in the rx8 and spend half the evening convincing people it's a good car because it's got a wankel rotary, rear-wheel drive, good weight distribution and fast around corners. You won't be very charming at all really..

  • @Luque7 i rather have a rare car then to be one of the many. That´s why i ride Xedos 9 and Prelude Vtec ;-) watch my vid, you don´t see those car every day and people come to me every day to ask what i drive and make pictures. I don´t know wich party you are talking about, but i go to many tuning events and most people find the rx8 very charming ;-P

  • @Luque7 depends with what kind of people you talk ofcourse... i often go to race and tuning events, those people dont talk much, they race ;) just like me

  • @DJFreshSkillZ I really cant see how you can prefer the alfa eyecandywise. I mean apart from the logo on the front the mazda is way better looking IMO. But everybody has a different taste :)

  • @65hanne i´m a real Mazda fan, i got the Mazda Xedos 9 and the Mazda Millenia S (USA version), but i just gotta be honoust that in this case the Alfa is better looking. Don´t get me wrong, if you compare this Alfa with the RX7... But indeed everybody has a different taste. Differtent fruit is much better looking in this world then just a bowl of just bananas ;)

  • @DJFreshSkillZ : you´ve never seen RX-8

  • @DJFreshSkillZ dude you can't be serious. how in seven hells can mazda be the winner, when it's one of the most unpractical cars ever made. alfa has a copy paste interior which sucks, but it is also much prettier when it's the right colour and with sexy 18'' or 19'' wheels. there is one dark shade of gray that just sits perfectly on the car, i jizz myself every time i see it. anyway, huge mpg on the mazda, lots of oil, and other annoying things, no more characters remaining in the comment : )

  • @onokaoonokao you better read my comment again... i said RX8 is winner ON THE ROAD and Alfa winner on eyecandy.... Last week i smoked Alfa GT with my Mazda Millenia S ;)

  • @DJFreshSkillZ i did, and i said that it can't be the winner. i just pointed out that its not even close when it comes to looks, and that mazda fails at everything except the drivability part, in which there are much better cars than the understearing alfa with a platform from 1996. also, you probably smoked a 1.9 diesel.

  • @onokaoonokao omg READ MY COMMENT, alfa winner looks (eyecandy), Mazda winner road and the Alfta i smoked was indeed a Diesel 2004 1.9 JTD Distinctive... still it was a GT ;)

  • It's time for quick one! :))

  • the hand break is up? wtf

  • I LOVE THIS CAR!! =) 5*

  • Which car. The Alfa is much better. And who gives a f*ck that it's 0.38 sec behind the Mazda on this track ? In a straight line the Alfa is quicker

  • No it's not,RX8 0-100 6.5s,GT 0-100 6.7s ;)

  • So bloody what? The Alfa is still the better car. It's missing only one thing - rear wheel drive, and it would be perfect!

  • @gopsar

The point is that MANY cars are faster than the RX8 in a straight, but through it into a turn, and things start to differ. Look, the RX8 is completely underpowered, but it really does handle well (I own an '04 6-speed with Tein coilovers. The only thing I disagreed with this woman is the steering. The steering on the RX8 is PHENOMENAL! Anyone with a REX8 will tell you.

  • @gopsar

The Alfa will never win in a straight line. Besides the RX-8 is more practical and much more entertaining to drive.

The British version of the car only has 231hp the original version(jap) has 250hp and considering the RX-8 weighs about 150kg less, that would make a big difference.

0.38? well it only takes a 55s seconds to get around the track...

Sure the Alfa looks great, but it really has nothing else to offer.

  • @gopsar you're a f*cking retard.

  • THANKS dARK

  • Your a good man nycrotaryrocket!
