  • thanks for the video ! it really helped! (:

  • helpful! thank you.

  • im doing this in algebra 1 ?!

  • @iTzSaM101 This topic can be introduced in pre-algebra or algebra 1. It is usually reviewed in Algebra 2 and sometimes Geometry.

  • @mrsswissa do you have video about function tables or can you answer now.. ok mx+/-b ok so if the m's a fraction thn how do i put it on a function table? for instants 2/5(1)-2 i know how to answer, but i need to put it on function table, but since its a ffractions i cant put fraction on table, or a decimal, my teacher said... yeah im in advanced math this is killing my brain, anyways he said something about denominators please help...

  • @MegaSchoolGirl1 Hope this isn't too late...

If your slope (or "m") is a fraction, and you want only integers (not decimals or fractions) in your function table, then your input values need to be multiples of the denominator. For example, if your slope is 2/5, your input values (x-values) should be multiples of 5 (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, etc). You will notice that when you multiple 2/5 by any of those numbers, you get a whole number. You can also use negative numbers.

    Hope this helps.

  • @mrsswissa THANK U!!!!! I GET IT!!

  • @MegaSchoolGirl1 So happy to hear that! :)

  • If you are changing from slope-intercept form to standard form and your slope is negative three over one........Negative three over one is the same as negative three. You would add three x to each side. You would not need to divide.

  • what if the slope was negative three over one? would you divide by three?
