Have an 07 RX-1 with a Bender exhaust. I donn't think the Bender makes it any faster but it "sounds" faster.....anyway, I love my sled, I love speed and I love playin' in the snow!

Apex are leaps and bounds better than the RX-1. can't wait for say 1-2 years when Yamaha finally looses a bunch of weight to be come even 20 pounds of the competition. then they will totally dominate!

Nice sled, 4 strokes are awesome. I have a Yamaha V-Max 600 triple, new camoplast track, with some studs, and a triple pipe, it flys, but it's pretty heavy, but enough take off to out accelerate a Polaris Fusion 600.

Hey come up to Georgian Bay sometime & we'll show you how to ride. Average 104-109 Mph on the ice...and I only have a 800. You should be able to get at least 110-120 Mph for that sled & your weight. And I'm a girl!!!!!!!

They should be able to get a 150MPH at least out of those sleds i have a Yamaha SRX 700 with bender clutches and a MBRP race can. that thing does 130 in the blink of an eye.

Well, that's good. Nothing wrong with a 2-cycle sled. I prefer 4-cycle as they don't need 2-cycle oil, they require less maintenance and usually get better fuel mileage which allows a greater cruising range. Have you ever driven a Yamaha 4-stroke? Nice broad torque band, quiet, smooth.

I was lucky enough to borrow one an RX-1 for a weekend.... awesome trail sled! Ilove the pull when the tach hits 10k! that is some serious excitement! If I had 9k to drop on a sled, I would by an RX-1 immediately. Not much ofa ditch banger and not much for jumping but on the trails and frozen lakes this sled is king.
