I purchased that gun and it broke within the first month i returned it for store credit and purchased this one and it hasn't broke for three months. I use this gun as my secondary for my sniper and i destroy i get at least 6 kills each game.

My guns, well its my friends now, i sold it, but is still working after two years. one thing i have learned about jg. is, great for begginers, solid internals, but not solid enough for anything above a 9.6. and even with a 9.6 you need to be careful so you don't srip the gears.

@GaAjPwNz I have a jg and that thing has the highest ROF out of anyone I know with a 9.6. 2.5 years old and still going strong! echo 1 guns have always impressed me with their ROF and fps out of the box. I own several. Ak47ris (my bros now) m8a3 (now a dmr) and g36c. (i know I have a problem lol) also jg m4 cqb.

i say u buy the m5-a4 from airsoft megastore, for $110 it shoots at about 800rpm out of the box with a 8.4v 1500 mAh battery and hurls bb's at a raging 375-390 fps. i have pinned targets easily from about 150 ft away, its a compact rifle without all the problems and reliability issues as one.

j stands for "japanese version". iirc it's stock is a little bit shorter than on the "usual" mp5's. i also don't know exactly whether it's only an airsoft-thing (like with the G3 SAS for example) or if there is/was a real steel MP5 J. but since the J-version has other dimensions it fits better e.g. for younger ppl, just like those who play airsoft.

my full metal jg mp5 is shooting 410 fps with .25g bbs and its completely stock.. only thing i put on it is a noveskie noise amplifier and a 9.6v battery and neither of which effects the fps

Depends on what you'd use it for. MP5's are typically used for CQB-type engagement distances, M4's are typically for mid-range engagements. If you are looking for a compact weapon for up-close in-your-face engagements, the MP5 is probably better suited than the longer M4.

i just got this gun today and i took it out to shoot it but it wouldnt. i charged the battery for a while, loaded and wound the clip but it wont shoot. it will make the sound like its shooting but only like 2 bbs will come out every now and then and idk if its the bbs im using thats the problem. im using .25 from some madbull company somebody please tell me why it wont fire.

Hey if you havent been able to figure out how to fix your gun, use silicone oil. I had the same problem. Spray the inside of the magazine for only a second with SILICONE OIL ONLY. Using wd40 could damage it. Don't ask why, cause idk it just said it would. Hoped i helped.

hey..where can i get those types of targets? you guys have done really good reviews and other videos. keep on reviewing more affordable guns from echo1 and CYMA. that way you keep the "noobs" involved and interested. pros don't need to be taught by someone else to about their $300 guns. noobs need the info.

its for copyright reasons. meaning echo1 didn't want to pay H&K to be able to use the guns real name (MP5A5) so they changed it to M5J and more recently they've just been going with MOD5A5 and MOD4 and MOD47 and so on and so forth.

Ok, i will tell you straight up about this gun. I am 13 years old and i have recently purchased this gun. It's very nice and i recomend it to players like me. ( Plays in backyard with bunkers, and in about 1 acre of not so dense woods.) I play with 6-10 people. This gun reallygets the job done. Shoots hard and pretty accurate. usually play 3-3, 4-4 ect. My team usually wins because of this mp5. I would not recomend buying the medal because of price, But a grat feature. Hope I Helped,

personaly i would get the mp5, however i'd get the metal version, may be close to a hundered bucks more but well worth it in terms of durability and strength. I just got this gun and it is a bit newer than this one with a 3 position full metal stock. well, the end that you put up to your shoulder is plastic, but the rest is very sturdy metal. The selector switch also goes into single fire unlike the one in the video. overall, this gun is amazing for its price! $125 for 330 fps sounds good to me!

It sucks. Well it's more of a hit or miss. I'd go with Airsoftgi or airsoftatlanta. Airsoftgi has a free repair service if the gun breaks. Same goes for AA if you live near atlanta, but it's on weekdays only. They have an AWESOME staff and golden customer service.

i made a mistake by buying JG. everything was messed up. screws were missing, things didn't function right, ect.

echo 1 goes through, reassembles everything, puts a working battery with it, makes sure it fires correctly and the whole nine yards.

i wish i would've spent 15 bucks more to make sure my gun was of good quality because i had to spend $50+ just to get it working properly.

In my opinion, paintball isnt as tactical as airsoft.

(I have played both, and love them both) I just think airsofts more tactical since you actually feel like your in combat with the gear and the guns. But with, i feel like im running and gunning. I sorta feel "tactical" in paintball when im playing scenario woodsball but thats it.

airsoft isn't painless. airsoft will hurt like paintball, with a higher fps gun. and the guns are more realistic then paintball and more accessories then paintball will ever have. plus we don't play at a "inflatable Marshmallow" areas, we play outdoors and indoors like simulated towns like CQB city.

I completely disagree about accessories. Other than that, I play woodsball not speedball and I have a tippmann a5 and I'll tell you a paintball will hurt more than a bb out of almost any airsoft gun besides maybe a sniper with 400 + fps its just not as fun for me

well, there are guns w/ more then 400+ fps. i personally have one while my other friend has a gas blowback m4 fully upgraded. you also don't have to reload as much cause our magazine can hold up to like 5k worth in a drum mag and plus u don't have to wash off the paint and stuff. but ya i played once or twice and i don't like speedball either.

Im sure that some airsoft guns hurt. I wont deny that but I feel like in airsoft you never see the bb's go where you aim them. They always sail off because they are just too light and can catch a breeze so easily. In paintball a paintball wont go off course that easy and I can always hit what I am aiming at.

I would probably have to say around 200-250 feet if you were  going to hit a man size target probably around 300-400 feet anything beyond that is total luck this depends though what kind of barrel you have and how nice the gun is i have a nice tippman a5 with an apex barrel and it shoots like a charm dont get me wrong though i love airsoft too

Ah, those aren't paintballs then. That is a shoot and see target. It had a orange base covered by a black flaky top. When you hit it, the top flakes off exposing the orange underneath.
