i heard some said pod xt are easy to use and better than pod x3..is it true?the price also higher than xt..

The PODxt with the model packs installed is the same exact thing with a few exceptions. PODX3 has Bass amps if you are a Bass player, and it also has a few extra mics. PODx3 also allows you to use 2 amps at the same time. So yes its going to be a little more technical to use. But I have used the PODxt and there is nothing that I have not been able to re create of someones sound or at least coming VERY close to it! No matter what? You are not going to be disappointed with either one of them!

@miedragonlord It comes with allot of amps already but no I had to buy the model packs for $99.00. Now if you find a PODxt on ebay or something you may get lucky and someone will have already bought them that is selling the podxt. Or if you play Bass guitar also? Buy the POD X3. It does have everything already on it.

HI i have a question:I planning soon to buy Line 6 pod x3 pro mount rack.I don't have any experience with recording i want to record Guitar,bass,vocal,drums and maybe keyboard's all that through Line 6 pod x3 pro mount rack,and of course Cakewalk SONAR Home Studio 7.and my question can i record all that through line 6 and sonar home studio?

I know you will be able to use it for Guitar, Bass, and Vocals for what you want to do. Now the keys? Not sure what effect that would have running through a POD? I haven't seen the rack mount though of the PODx3? I do have the PODxt rack mount but its for guitar only. My next thin will be the Line head for $1,700.00! lol! But yes it should do for you fine for the 3 things.

What is better Cubase or Cakewalk or Ableton? I want the best recording software possible and I was just wondering what some of your guys' opinions were.

Cubase allot of people use and do ok with it. I have it but prefer to use Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro because its user friendly and does a great job with sound. Alblton is suppose to be better, but never have tried it and only know one guy who has. His recording dont come out any better than mine? In fatc on my website there is a song we just did call Omnipresent that is on My Music page Under the X-Stinction Album. You cant tell any difference of who used what?

What I believe amkes allot of the difference in recording in the soundcard processing the audio. Decent soundcard made all the difference in my old and new recordings, I was still using cakewalk then but upgraded my soundcard and its all better! lol! Well that and the PODxt has allot to do with it as well. You can have the best sofware and if your equipment sucks it will just pick it up better of bad sounding equipment.

why when i open my movie maker to record a video, and play the mp3 song...the song plays bad, like in little pieces?¿ :S

i have a samsung dvd handcam

and a pod xt live,

what would you recomend me to use, in terms of recording. i recorded with the cam and the sound of the speakers, but i dont get a good quality sound :S

Under my other channel name? Use the video camera then direct record using the pod xt live. Drag the video and the recording into WMMaker the mute out the sound of the video. You can replace the video sound with the recorded one you made. Its good to video tape while recording for it to match up and look right though? Its how I do it. Like with Hero of the Day on my main channel of DreidMusicalX. You should have a decent recording software on your pc that makes easier Need more help let me know?

Hoe much memory is on your PC? That may be a reason for the song playing like that? Maybe? Also check for updates on your graphics card if you have a upgraded one, and motherboard. Make sure you have Java, and the latest version of Direct X installed as well. These things can also effects the way your pc runs in programs that take alot of memory.
