Lego for me isnt as good as it was in the old days (80s) cos now they just make everythign almost premade, theres nothing to actually "build" and that shows in that set there, there's very little to construct cos it's all predone which sort of defeats the purpose of Lego in the first place and I don't recall there being a box with jewels in it in the plane scene lol

the flying wing in the movie had a very unique shape that lego was to lazy to recreate, it also seems that they price kits more on figures now. when i was younger, i got the original sw MTT for $50, which had close to 500 pcs, and a bunch of droids. also, a lot more stickers being used. i will always love legos though

Yeah, I have the River Chase set, and I got that Marion face instead of the one shown on the box. I think it's because that after LEGO started producing the Ambush in Cairo set that came with this face, they started to use it in the other sets as well. The face that was supposed to be in this set actually has a little misprint on the scared face. That's why I think LEGO changed it.

I don't think this plane was the Komet , The Komet was much thinner then this model with a smaller wingspan and only a single crew member. The closest thing to this I would say is the Northrop YB-49 which was an American prototype.
