guys its normal having interceptions....sometimes flight paths cross with areas out of communication...which means towers trying 2 communicate with planes but they cant because they are running on other frequencies to maintain on the frequency of the center tower...as a result fighters are sent to investigate and even escort out of the airspace if its a military base .... now whats odd is the fighter pilot asking the commercial pilot to follow him and land

@sopee01 Probably a training mission, in wich they intercept (using the right way to sneak up behind and communicate to ) the "Jetliner". If i'm not mistaking they do this kind of training quite often.

It's organized ofcourse, if you go to an airshow in Belgium you can win tickets for one of these flights, they usually fly an Embraer 135 or 145 and intercept it with 2 F-16's
