  • that guy is just an epic win with all wind instruments

  • The instrument is Armenian "duduk" with a modified mouth piece to adapt to Pedro's playing style, otherwise it takes years to just to be able to get a decent sound out of it.

  • I love you Yanni forever

  • What did Yanni say at the very end of the video?

  • @Zaknafein541 He said " 谢谢 (Xièxiè) " Which means "thank you" in Mandarin Chinese :)

  • I've always really liked this song, and the video is so much fun to watch, in particular Pedro's interaction with the singers - but my favorite part of the song has always been when Karen just goes to town on that violin. (4:11)

  • Karen Briggs at 4:11, stunning

  • i wish i was there , one dream only .

  • @SaudiNo1 that instrument is a xaphoon but mostly known as the bamboo saxophone. The musician is Pedro Eustache. HE IS AMAZING!!!!!!

  • could someone please tell me what is the name of the instrument the guy plays in the seconds 00:39 to 00:53 and the player name

    thank you

  • @SaudiNo1 The players name is Pedro Eustache. The instrument sounds like the Duduk, but I don't think that's right though.

  • @sebastians92 The instrument name is Balaban - its Azerbaijan music instrument.

  • @bonoparte Thank you :)

  • @sebastians92 Balaban and Duduk are the same instruments

  • actually it is a Bamboo sax, made by erik the flutemaker, i have the exact one after writing to Mr.Eusatche, trust me you will love it,very fun to play, i also own a Duduk and a Dzi flute, after watching him in these vids :0)

  • @SaudiNo1 bamboo sax he that instrument are only 1 in the world

  • The instrument is not a balaban... IT IS A BAMBOO SAX made by Erik the flute maker, CUSTOM ORDERED BY Pedro Eustache [with extra lower notes, in the style of the Armenian duduk].

  • Thats Really Amazing :)

  • awesome composer

    /watch?v=5foDqDyyVus

  • whom are those 4 beautiful ladies doing the singing ?

  • @1948tc From left to right:

    Alfreda Gerald

    Vann Johnson

    Jeanette Clinger

    Catte Adams

I am proud to personally know each of them. My mother, Julie, played violin for Yanni's orchestra on this album.

  • @metzdawg3000 was that your mom whom did the solo , if so she is so magnificent on playing that violin . to me that woman is one bad lady and she is great on that instument . i saw her one time with another violinist when they were having a duel of violins and it was magnificent . i love yanni's work and his orchestra . i just wished i could take out one of those wonderful lady's out for a date . it would be a dream come true .

take care guy and i appreciate the great news

  • @1948tc LOL no that was Karen Briggs. My mom was just part of the supporting orchestra.

  • there is nothing above this piece of music

  • wondrfull....wow !!!

  • WOW WOW WOW, nice video, you just made my very stressful day gone, I am very happy to see this video great quality. Yanni is the best, the musician are great, the vocalist just amazing, what an amazing vocal control. Once again Thank you!

  • it's the best ever.

  • Yanee the great

  • What is the instrument be played from 0:41-55? I love that sound.

  • @CherokeeMaiden81 it's a duduk. It dates back over 3,000 years ago in ancient Armenia.

  • @StySho168 Quick correction: it's not a duduk; it's a bamboo sax made by Erik the Flutemaker. I believe Pedro is also playing one of Erik's flutes on Nigthingale.

I have a bamboo sax myself as well as several of his flutes...they're great!

  • @CherokeeMaiden81 is a traditional Armenian instrument called dukduk ... has a very melancholy sound right? ... Greetings from Zacatecas, Mexico

  • fantastic

  • Nice video quality ^^

  • Incredible... Just incredible. Too bad the concerts aren't the same anymore. I wished I knew about him earlier, I would've loved to see him live in Acropolis and the Forbidden City. The female vocalists are incredible and look like they've absolutely had a blast.

  • Pedro,you rock!!!!

  • LOVELY!

  • I was introduced to Yanni's music by a friend about 8 years ago. The first time I heard it, it swept off my feet. I'd admit that I'm addicted to his music. My all time favourite are "Southern Exposure" & "Dance with a Stranger". Yanni is genious.

  • So much energy and passion from this piece. True Beauty. Typical YANNI !!!!

  • The quality of this video is incredible. Thank Q for posting.

  • @lllllllllllllll88

Than you should be stunned if you took a look at one of those HD videos. They are even better.

  • Very good Piece and very good homework by YANNI

  • Se la creen o se hacen?

  • love it. got it on my zune and listen on the subway :D

  • superb

  • this is great, made me start going back to concerts. Thank you Yanni

  • é um tipo de melodia vinda de outro plano...o divino

  • my best after santorini

  • This is one of my favorite pieces, because the harmony between the instruments and voices is perfect... Karen Briggs is GREAT !!!! I've tried to discover the language in the last part, when the second lady sings, but I cannot get it. Somebody could tell me ? Thanks in advance and thanks for sharing !!!!!

  • Piękne uwielbiam Yanni i jego kompozycje- serdecznie pozdrawiam - Agnieszka

  • lovely...

  • harika

  • one of my favoritest pieces by Yanni

  • I really love this song. I don't know why but it reminds me of the summer when I was a child.

  • Thanks for uploading this. I have done searches for this in the last year & a half, and this never came up. I wonder why....

    1) Ric Fierabracci ain't Abe Laboriel, but he's not bad

    2) I believe they called that a bamboo saxophone

    3) Jeanette Clinger is hot!

  • Hey, ¿who is she?

  • Of the four singers...the white girl with long hair.

Vann Johnson isn't bad either, I'm just sayin'

  • hrm...interesting. I like how Karen looks at both sides of the band when she plays with this expectant look, haha. So happy looking and sounding.

  • Yanni unites the world of music and nations!

    Big thanks for uploading this!

Some day I will own all material of Yanni, DVDs, LPs, everything ... this man and all he creates, all who join him, they all are too good to ignore them!

    Peace on earth!

  • Vann Johnson doing the vocals is my favorite. Big voice from such a small gal.

  • WONDERFUL!

  • What a joy to view! What a feast to listen!

  • E a 'conversinha' entre Geralda e Pedro?Lindaa!

    The best music of Yanni!

  • Omg I remember this song. Love it. <3

  • The 3rd singer from the left is super hot!

  • yaaaaaaaaaaaaah

    totally agreee

  • I can listen Yanni's music all day along.

  • Actually, I did today! I just couldn't get enough!

  • They love him, it seems.

  • i remember him! about 10 years ago?? my mother was obsessed with him!

  • Quando se trata do YANNI, não há o que comentar. Todas as musicas ou quase todas são maravilhosas de se ouvir e apreciar. MUITO BOM.

  • I love this song. Helps me relieve all the stress!

  • i love this song! Karen Briggs's solo is amazing!!!

  • My enjoying is beyond any words. Just magnificent music!

  • Does anyone else find it depressing that Charlie Adams wasn't the set percussionist for this concert?

I was immensely relieved to see him return for the "Yanni LIVE!" concert tour.

But this song is amazing, it gives of a sense of...soul.

  • Isn't that Charlie Adams at the drums? It looked like him to me.

  • simply beautiful.

  • Muito Bom!

  • I love this song.

  • Yes yanni greek his arkestr 2 armenian and play armenian duduk

  • I like those ladies they have it together in those voices as for the whole picture it's totally awesome.

  • Excellent! So happy Yanni is back, has created new music with vocals, and planning a 2008 World Tour. I saw this on his website.

  • what greek no his armenian

  • "People often ask me if I am greek or american. I am a human being"

    -Yanni

  • yannis chryssomalis. i didn't know that armenians have such names... cmon man, he is greek but that has nothing to do

  • Armenians and Greeks and Persians are brother. Yanni is a Greek but anyhow, he is an Armenian or a Persian too. We're all brothers.

  • that's exactly what i m saying lionpersia and i m happy you see it that way too. music has no boundaries but it's another thing to give false information. i could tell you that you that pedro eustasche is greek too... or to get rid of ethnicities that it's a piece i wrote and yanni stole it from me, would u believe it..?

  • and i m just happy for the armenian duduk called an "armenian" as i would be if it was called "greek duduk". still that intrument make me cry...

  • You seem to be a Hellenic! To berader-e-man!(You're my brother!)

And you're right. It doesn't matter. Duduk makes me cry too.

  • yes :)

  • is he a Greek ?

  • the third ladys name was Jeanette Clinger :)

  • Great song. actually he is playing only his bamboo and soprano saxes in this video. if you want to hear him play the duduk search "yanni prelude." that is one of the most pleasant songs you can listen to.

  • Great video! Nice vocals too from Alfie and Vann Johnson. Wish I could remember the third lady's name.

  • this is right after he played nightingale right?? wonderful

  • waaaoww ! :)

  • Awesome!

  • yanni makes me relax gj.

  • Great!!!!
