  • I think the Indiana jones scene was the Inspiration for nuke town in black ops.

  • 14:43 lmao and hes still alive hahahaha fuckin hollywood

  • ur not supposed to look at the sun through a telescope.. but COME on?!? A NUKE?!?! AND HES NOT BLIND?!?!

  • Damn, I'll have to buy a larger fridge.

  • 3:37 that scenes really scared me, that could happen in war world 3!!! and adios muchachos!!!!

  • And Indiana jones died a couple of weeks later by major radiation sickness. This could have been avoided if he had hidden under the table instead.

  • 9:13

I just noticed that in AvP: Requim they used the sound from the motion trackers in Aliens.

  • 13:53 THE CAR BEHIND DRIVE ONLY ? WTF !!!

  • I remember seeing Skyline in the theatre and laughing hysterically when the alien ahip floated back up after getting nuked :D

  • With great power, comes great responsibility.

  • Nuclear Launch Detected

  • The alarm for Indiana Jones was blood-curdling as hell, and yes, that was my favorite as too. But damn, that alarm will heat my cold reptilian blood to a boil until the day I die. The FUCK?

  • T2 and some of all fears were most real ones

  • 15:00 he's very lucky but in reality he's carbonised =(

  • nuke -> suke -> fuke

  • hey its nuke town

  • did alcie die

  • Terminator 2's was actually the most realistic. James Cameron received letters from scientists praising him on it as that is what would really happen. He says it scares him.

  • 0:34 care package in bound :D i got a man with a whip

  • skyline was shitty, but the nuke was awesome.

  • Nuke em. Nuke the bastards.

  • lol, in the crazies, her eyes would have melted in her head

  • on my calendar this is the year 5184. The end could be like this, we all paid into the club now who has that damn RED BUTTON

  • Hahaha that reminded me on nuketown on blackops but when surviving something like that at the end I would just keep running not go on top of a hill and stairing at a nuke

  • Ive always said its about time Houston was featured in a movie, but the I-45 freeway sign would been the Scott st or Spur 5 to get to U of H. Petty detail I know... :o

  • the terminator 2 one is terrifying lol.

  • Indiana Jones should have melted along with that fridge ;D

  • The last one was so stupid there was no way he could've survived that is why I now hate George Lucas and Steven Spielberg

  • and if this comess true then all countries will have to get toghther and fight and we wil all be unstobbale

  • I think Terminator 2 was the best

  • Someone needs to tell the people who made "The Crazies" that anyone who looks directly at an atomic blast with the naked eye usually goes blind from retinal burns...

  • wouldn't just be easier to film a real nuke going off... wait that could be bad

  • my personal favourite nuke scene is from when the wind blows

  • One of the most realistic explosions was a British film done back in the 1980's called Threads. It was their version of The Day After but I always felt it more effectively depicted not only the brutality of the blast heat effects but the long term hopeless situation that would follow. The Indiana Jones scene is accurate in the nuke town effects but The Terminator movies always comes to mind when thinking about nuclear war.

  • DA NUKKKEEEEEEE

  • Actually the nuke scene with Indiana Jones is vary possible, they just don't make refrigerators like that anymore haha! But the scenes from the terminators was pretty scary.

  • As ridiculous as the scene may have been, Indiana Jones' explosion was the most realistic out of all of these.

That fridge wouldn't have been able to survive that impact, though.

  • @KuramaBingyi91 let alone indy inside it

  • @KuramaBingyi91 HAHAHAH ME TOO

  • @KuramaBingyi91

with it being lined with lead (a very strong material) and the quality in which they made those items in the 50's, i believe the fridge would have been fine.

but that landing would have cracked his head like an egg.

  • @KuramaBingyi91 Much less even protect Indy from the fallout

  • @KuramaBingyi91 how do you know, are you some kind of fridge structure expert? joke ;)

  • @KuramaBingyi91 The fridge?! How about the person inside it?

  • @KuramaBingyi91 Not to mention that he and that .... gopher? groundhog? what ever, that rodent would have been dead along with indi.

  • 11:16 now there's an "oh shit" look.

  • We now have no reason to fear nuclear war, all we need is a shitton of refridgerators.

  • This will be the like button. :D

  • its a bird, its a plane, no its flying fridge

  • lol just realized thats how they got nuketown

  • @xxSEChockeyST ya! ain't black ops original!

  • Remember the nuke from the Crazies the next time you think the guy behind you with his headlights on high is annoying.

  • hahah indian jones on nuketown from black ops ahhhhhh good times playing on nuketown

  • i was going to click LIKE :(

  • Best nuke = Chuck Norris' birth.

  • T2: Lol at the obvious miniature set xD

  • There would be no sound if you died in one

  • I can't help but notice that all the explosions in the movies made in the past decade have the same look and sound effects, and a lot of flying glass. The sound effects and truck getting hit by the blast wave in The Crazies are the same sound effects and blast wave hitting the car in Indian Jones.

It's as though there is only one CGI company that specializes in nuclear explosions. They're all too similar and getting boring.

  • of course you're safe for an atomic bomb in a fridge

  • lol @ the crazies, when a nuclear bomb detonates it causes an electromagnetic pusle(EMP) making it impossible for that truck to be driving

  • What they used to build this fridge? lol

  • @MatheusMK3 Lead, it is resistent against the Gamma radiation from the nuke.

  • @MatheusMK3 he survived in it because it was lead lined

  • 1:20 Pwned

  • Mommy, mommy, the mean ice-cream man gave me a melted ice cream.

    Well it did have radiation

  • The T2 one was the scariest, and the T3 one was the most dramatic. The Sum of All Fears nuke scene sucked. Could have been MUCH better.

  • number 9 was my fav movie as a child and it still is

  • 15:20 that nuke is so buitiful

  • 14:11 wow indeana jhons survives a nuke in a refrigearater man hes so godd like chuck norries >:)

  • @Mrsebring181 I'm referring to those characters in the movies here. Surely they must have known that staring into a nuke explosion would melt your cornea and blind you for hours but yet they still took the risk just for the fun of it.

  • The sum of all fears is awesome

  • Why does everyone love to look at a nuke explosion?

  • @ArrowToTheAnkle We've all played a lot of Fallout 3, and just taking a little break.

  • @ArrowToTheAnkle i dont know. If it really happened im sure many would look to see what it is. We couldnt help it, a big explosion in a city will attract our attention. Its the worst thing to do but that wouldnt matter. we would look at it anyway. at least I would unles I was warned beforehand it was a nuclear weapon.

  • of coarse your top #1 would be indiana jones

  • The crazies one was unrealistic because when there is a nuclear explosion there is no sound.

  • @AndersonFamily12 how would you know

  • whats the song at the beginning?

  • @despotar1000 Powerman 5000 - Bombshell

  • Skyline

Dear Lord, the movie was absolutely absimal, but that scene was F-ing incredible!

  • so die by the first blast or by radiation.... FIRST BLAST PLEASE

  • These movies are absolute Hollywood shoot em up crap.

  • Independence day it's My Favourite

  • I loved Skyline

  • The Sum of All Fears one was awesome.

  • Terminator 3 is the best.

  • Nastay.

  • i never liked the nuke in terminator 2, too graphic

  • Ok, everybody DOES realize that if you can see the explosion or the mushroom cloud, you disintegrate whether you were in the blast radius or not? So pretty much everybody in these movies who survived would be dead.

  • @Robodav64

Do you realize you're a complete tool who has no idea what he's talking about?

  • @Myusernamerulez Sometimes, yes.

  • @Myusernamerulez Also, do you realize that I'm a real person that you're talking to and not some CPU that you can just criticize?

  • All those guys who survived the nukes later died on cancer ;D

  • the skyline nuke looked like something other than a nuke explosion. Neutron bomb?

  • @blazewb1

A neutron bomb is just a hydrogen bomb that releases a lot of neutrons upon detonation.

  • Damn Humans you scary

  • @gmtchili07 U Alien Bro?

  • @mbluebird2 yes im mexican

  • I think "The day after" was pretty good, but that was a "made for TV" movie.

  • Personally, T2 is the most terrifying.

  • @amazingdany indeed

  • @amazingdany Terminator 3's is the most terrifying and sad

  • @amazingdany u mean t3.

  • @Tupples1 What is t3?

  • @amazingdany yeah, that one was the most disturbing.

  • most moive where aliens attack they all ways fire a nuke but it never work so i say 20 nuke

  • now we know where to hide

  • Indiana Jones would have definitely died even if he was in the fridge and even if it had stayed in that kitchen. He definitely would not have survived being catapulted like that.

  • @hop208 true but indiana movies arent suppose to be realistic.... like seriously what kind of weapon sucks the life out of who run from it or what about looking at it.... I get what ur saying but after the stuff in the first 3 movies, u cant talk about realistic stuff anymore :P

  • lol Indiana jones! seriously... my vote was on Terminator 2 as it was more accurate, for you cant look at a Nuclear explosion for its the power of the sun and would melt your eyes, and its power of distruction was more scary

  • F**K THEM TERRORIST-Roman GTA 4

  • Indiana Jones? AH! You must mean the most HILARIOUS nuke survival ever

  • very very good list!!

  • good one

  • america just loves nukes, its like a fetish

  • Indiana Jones got the 25 kill streak and blew up nuke town! lol

  • @metzgermeisterfuchs This comment wins lol.

  • @UninsaneRocker lol thats the first thing i think of everytime I see that scene lol

  • @metzgermeisterfuchs I BET YOU 10000 MILLION DOLLORS HE WAS HACKING!!!!!

  • When I watched skyline/nuke scene I was like "Yeah you alien cocksuckers, that´s what you´re about to expect, death and tears. Git the fock off our planet"

  • id be like HOLY SHIT I JUST GOT NUKED AND SURVIVED

  • Battle: LA will go down as one of my all time favorite alien/war movies. No futuristic weapons or crusading presidents, but US Marines doing what they do best. A vastly underrated movie.

The Crazies was sadly overlooked too. Dismissed as just another "zombie" movie, it deserved better.

  • @Earych LA and stupid US marines are sick.

  • The Crazies: Realistically, had she watched a nuclear explosion that close with her eyes wide open, she have been blinded immediately for life. It would have burned her retinas.

  • Terminator 2 nuke... THE BEST!

  • although it wasnt a good movie, my fave nue scene has to be the skyline one, so epic!

  • LOL a number 6 it didn't even look like a nuclear blast it was just a white shock wave/ball of energy

  • Refrigerators, BETTER than fallout shelters! :D

  • temronator 2 is petty scary right there

  • skyline is the WORST movie ive ever seen

  • Good list for the most part. Not sure about the Indiana Jones blast or the Skyline one. My Favorite that did not make you list in the 1952 move Above and Beyond. It a biography about Paul Tibet, who drop the first atomic bomb on Japan.. The studio was turn down by the military when they asked for footage of the explosion. So they created their own. It look beter then the real footage and the Miltary then used the fake fottage in their training films in the 1950.s and 1960.s.

  • cHUCK NURRIS COULD SURVIVE THE INDIANA JONES EXPLOTION IN A CAN OF BEANS...

  • the crazies my favorite

  • All i can say about each explosion in a:

"Hey Bob, pull my finger" and push Play.

  • thats one damn good fridge

  • Skyline... what a waste of my goddamn money. I hated that movie so much! Battle L.A is the true alien invasion movie.

  • @agumon12 TRUE SOOOOOOOOO TRUE

  • @agumon12 Battle LA had the worst fucking special effects, it was the worst movie in the world.

  • @agumon12 Why, cause the us won??? :?

  • @agumon12 sooo true i thought it was a about a telephone company in the sky

  • @agumon12 No, District 9 is.

  • @agumon12 Amen

  • @agumon12 i agree but something had to balance with humanity kicking ass then getting it's ass kicked but yeah i agree battle L.A is better

  • @agumon12 Battle LA sucked ass

  • @agumon12 U hate it because we got exterminated by the aliens, and the Americans didn't saved the Earth like in every other movie (not only alien invasion ones). Cmon man we don't really know are there an aliens and if they mind to attack us we are gonna be unprepared. If they have a technology to travel billions of miles in no time, than they will got unimaginable fire power. U still think that America will save us from anything ???

  • @agumon12 you are right and btw since when do b2 bombers do dogfigts? :|

  • LA gets nuked a lot... Darn.

  • If you pause at exactly 12:46 you can see the explosion happening on the tv

  • hehee...i love the sheer over exaggeration at 7:55 xD

  • The funny thing is though, if he didn't use the fridge, it would've gave a lot of food to that groundhog..

Groundhog" WHERES MY LUNCH!?..Oh well, screw this I'm watching a porn movie!"

  • @SandmanCOD .... Wut

  • @SandmanCOD "Real Military" and "Call of Duty Modern Warfare" should NEVER be in the same sentence. Now excuse me, I have to pluck out my eyes and kill myself after reading such a horrid idea.

  • lol the houses and all that is like nuketown map on call of duty black ops multiplayer

  • @makemap 1 is that there are no survivors considering the shockwave goes further than the radiation. 2 I that radiation does not mutate it kills. Radiation is little particles that shoot thru your body extremely fast. (Extremly brief version of it)

That's why people desintagrated when they tried to get to close to trunoble

  • Whyed he survive? Because he's indiana fucking jones that's why

  • same here for number one. lol

  • i like the way that indiana jones doesnt et effected by the radiation

  • @dragonlordme he was in a lead refrigerator which hypothetically protects him

  • @bronzeemployer but he still gets out of the fridge.

  • @bronzeemployer Lets say that the fridge protecs him from the radiation, what about the kilometer he flew? Just because the fridge hits the ground doesnt mean that he is not affected by the impact. The velocity that the fridge has upon impact is the same velocity that the person inside the fridge hits the fridge's interior. To make it easy, Indiana Jones flies 1km, hits the ground and walks away. You fly 10 meters , cracks your skull and die from interior bleeding.

  • Oh man, The Crazies. I forgot about that movie. It was damn good.

  • Director: And then a nuke destroys the city!

Military Adviser: But 90% of nukes are >30 kilotons, they cant take out citys

Director: Then its one of the other 10%.

Military Adviser: But those are would all be used taking hardened targets like ICBM silos

    Director: Shut up.

  • And that's where they got nuketown in black ops XD

  • no.10 was creepy as fuck

  • Manhattan project.

  • can anyone help me, I'm looking for the film in which 4 students made a nuke, and once completed, one of the students sells the bomb to a terrorist organization. Anyone who knows the title?

  • How the **** did that squirrel survive next to that burning tree?

  • they realy want to kill indianna jones this bad.

  • resident evil is beast ^_^

  • T 2 blast is the best!

  • @TheKonrad1984 the scene where the F-22 dropped the nuke was messed up because they told them that a transport was coming

  • @HPAVELOW53 Well what would you do? Tell them they are going to be nuked. By not telling them at least their last few moments were not in total panic an
