dude my grandma used to have an 86 new yorker just like this. color and everything. i always remember it talking and stuff and then she gave it to my cousin who totaled it :p
Your car is awesome!! It looks so classy and is loaded with options, really nice example! Be careful with it lol! And in case you ever want to sell it, I'm in!
Check my channel for my mint GTS =D And have fun with your K-car! Keep the vids coming =D
I can see that on your videos =) I just can't find one anywhere =( Especially not as nice as yours. I'm full of jealousy haha!
Anyway, the best thing is that the car has a good owner. I once saw a video here on YouTube where they destroyed a New Yorker of the same age. That sucked =(
Keep it up! I like to watch the videos of you restoring/repairing the car, since I also own two older Chryslers and am always busy to restore things to look just a little bit better =)
THATS AMAZING, I hope one day to get a car like this well of condition, or even not in that well of condition either way its amazing. I saw a lebaron convertible, light yellow outside and red inside, must have been pre88 and it was a real beauty. Id guess it was a 86. either way. Love these cars.
nice car, good luck with it, use AC DELCO oil filters like whats in it now on the video ,or MOPAR oil filters, don't use cheap aftermarket filters period, they are junk with low quality media inside, the good filters will last for 3000~6000 miles with no problems...same goes for the oil &coolant, get the good stuff its way cheaper in the long run
also check the CHMSL,center 3rd mount stoplamp in the rear window, make sure the cover inside or the socket is not melted, some of these cars had problems with them, i got some of the housings for them if its melted !
Very nice '86 New Yorker Spats. Yours looks pretty cherry and those have to be very tough to find nowadays in that kind of condition. Next you should try to locate a mint 1990-93 Imperial!
Mine is the turbo one with only 15,000 miles on it with all options. Its nice to see some one take pride in one like I do mine.

What a beautiful car. I had an 86 LeBaron, that was canary yellow with a white top and maroon interior. Wish I still had it. Congrats!

I know that's right. These cars are hard to find these days. And are definitely keep sake items.

That fan has interesting blades
smithco995 2 years ago
that fan is from a turbo car, the 2.2 turbo cars had 5 blades instead of 2. i think the fan has been changed.
