  • Cool video. Am I the only one who finds it hilarious that everyone in the comments is calling this beetle 'he'? It's laying eggs, guys... I think that might be a little clue about its gender :).

  • The video is cool, but disgusting.

  • first like

  • Then it seems we have different kind of mealworms. Mine are the same size as yours, but their eggs are about the same size as the eggs of my superworms. After i saw your video i did put some carton and wood with cracks just to make sure that they actualy layed eggs...and they did and the eggs are huge.

But it doesnt matter. I went into mealworms frenzy. Everyday i get like 30 fresh bettles and i actualy stoped adding them because the container is like FULL. ;)

  • Did he actualy lay an egg ? I cant see anything. Or are the eggs to small ? Somewhere i read they are the same size as superworms eggs. But while i can always see superworm eggs in egg carton cracks, i can never ever see a mealworm egg. I even tried puting like tons of bettles into an empty box and added tons of cartons with cracks big enough for them to lay eggs but to small for them to eat them afterwards. Still, i didnt find a single egg.

  • @goblinsly he did trust me a meal worm egg is very small and you can not see but you will soon ... when they hacch you will see a big differnt!
