You can bet those nukes at 0:56 are pointed straight at the United States. No worries though, this game taught me that a single Green Beret with a knife could bring down the Soviet Union. You just don't mess with someone who will stand five feet away from a nuclear warhead and fire a rocket launcher at it. How could anyone take the Soviet Navy seriously when they dressed like the dudes from the Blue Oyster Club in Police Academy (3:45.)

The thing i liked to do when playing this game was start a 2 player game, that is when i'm playing alone...and let the 2nd player lose all his lives...because when you die in a 2 player game you get to start up right where you died, dying in a 1 player game starts your player back at the begginning of the stage or at the stage's checkpoint.

Obviously the enemies in this game know nothing about land mines, they aren't supposed to be out in plain sight like that, they're supposed to be buried underground and hidden so that some poor unsuspecting person will step on one and be blow to bits.

I could never get past the second phase of that game. Never occurred to me to just keep running. I didn't even know you could strike backwards mid-jump like that. Some of those moves where you're dodging soldiers from both directions, and skipping mines and not dying once is pretty awesome. Thanks for putting this up.

Sorry man; definitely tool-assisted. There's so many times you're touching guys and not getting killed. I remember this game being such a bitch because the slightest touch by any guy ANYWHERE resulted in instant death. Good to see how the full game looked; I think I only got to the end of the 4th level when I played as a kid. Looks like the end boss is a cakewalk.
