for me these small works exude a pure positive energy, which is easily absorbed due to the scale. Tiny works that invigorate and charm. Beautifully in touch with natural forces. Humbly briliant.

Ingenuous. Boldly diminutive. I read them as paintings.

They could be 4x6 feet. Winslow Homer and Warhol referred to their studios as factories. They both worked as commercial artists in their formative years. Inspired? Yes, but most often it comes through the back door. The soul leaks out. Thank you James for another keeper. Best-

There are lots of courageous people here who do nothing but pay rent on studio space and still call themselves artists.  Inspiration is overrated. Sometimes just the act of doing accidently leads to inspiration.

well said mr. kalm......'work' is what makes an artist, contrary to the current vogue of immaterial art by the likes of wade guyton and michael asher. discipline in the studio, working through ideas physically is the 'meat' of art. 200 is a good number, i notice he edited for the show...........:)
