  • I think you maybe choking Misty with that short air cleaner. What do you think?

  • That Platinum Mist is the best color of all that were offered in my opinion.

  • Buick Wildcat GS 455

  • this has to be a fake. wheres your GS air cleaner set up?

  • @andy4sythe

Evidently you do not have a clue....I am not running the stock air cleaner because of the SPX intake and hood clearance issues- check some of my other videos and you will see the cleaner on the other motor. By the way, you can put a stock Buick Snorkle air cleaner on ANYTHING...lol

  • @71455stage1 didnt notice the intake. my bad

  • @71455stage1 Pretty common for 455's in the GS, Stock aircleaner just wont work. Beautiful car!

  • Sounds great. What cam and mufflers are you running?

long tube headers with 3" dual exhaust? X-Pipe?

  • Have you run 1/4 mi. yet?

  • ya, last year after the motor swap she ran 11.32 @ 119 - this year new tranny, converter and some other stuff....we'll see 8)

  • Is this a crate eng. or did you have yours rebuilt?

  • Buick does not have crate engines, if you are getting one built make sure you get someone who knows Buicks though!

  • @71455stage) we can get crate engines buick olds pontiac cadillac chevy in ny state almost any motor from pep boys the cost is 1,600 to 2,500 i get a disscount $400 off that price .......

  • what is a good parts site for old cars

    like a gs

  • well it sounds odd but pretty much going under your car and tightening any loose bolts is free and it helps reduce annoying rattle noises, check for rust under your battery box. these cars have that issue. they ruxt around the radiator core support and the inner fender wells, depending on if you have rebuilt your block or not use 10w30 or 10w40 oil. also if you have any lifter knock use lucas oil treatment. that stuff works wonders.

  • I really hope this was a joke response, and you know more than this about cars/motors

  • dude the guy sounds like he is just starting out. yes there are MORE things he can do but this is advice i got from my elders when i was starting out. Also when that car is going down the road it causes vibrations which over a extended amount of time loosens up bolts and nuts. Which can cause damage (if left unchecked) and annoying noises. so i'm just giving him my two cents.

  • Sorry Dude- all I got was the notice in my inbox...after I read all these I understood...good luck!

  • oooo i love it! i have a '71 Skylark that my dad and i are cloneing into a GS. would you happen to have any '71 parts?

    Thanks

  • year one has everything you'll need

  • well id go to year one but they're waaay expensive for a 13 year old like me. Thanks Though

  • well i have a 72 buick skylark i am currently working on and a lot of the parts are interchangeable. what are you looking for exactly?

  • well i wrote this comment quite a while ago and i got new fenders and a hood so i really dont need any thing now...i've got most of it. what do you have though?

  • well i hove so butle tape for the front windshield, new front drum pads, i also have some gauges but those'll cost you, mainly one is a VERY hard to find buick GS speed warning spedo, a 2 bbl intake and a rebuilt rodchester 2bbl. i can also tell you a few hints or tips that may help you. btw if u want some groovy performance stuff check out poston.

  • i dont think i need any of those things but...what are the hints or tips? and yes i've been to Poston and for sure will be ordering from them! :)

  • also get a interchange manual and a chiltons manual. these will help you out with finding parts and repairing anything on your car
