Hey Mike, since I'm a smaller guy, should I use a smaller weight and focus on completing my sets? Right now I'm using a 20kg bar for bench press and 9kg dumbbells for my presses and fly's but am finding it difficult to complete my 4 sets of 10 reps.
@mackayguyy its not best to do every set until fail, so yes use lighter weight, then if u want pick an exercise at the end and do every set until fail. on my chest days i like to do machine flies until fail at the end (i change it up every so often). i do as many reps with good form as i can, drop the weight, go until i cant, drop the weight and so on... but ur 4th set the last few reps shud be damn near impossible, if u fail at 7-9, thats okay. but not lass than that.
I already have a resonable sized chest, but I want it much bigger! If I did this workout couple times a week for a while would they become bigger better and harder

Yes it will. I'll be honest, I have Man Boobs. I've been working out and doing some of these works outs, including this one and it helps! Trust me. The only way to get rid of man boobs is watching what you eat, and working out. Unfortunately, there is no magic cure to get of them other than some hard work.
inner chest? must be joking.. the pectoralis major is one muscle.. you cant really target muscle groups in the chest because.. well there is no group.. its one large muscle. all exercises target the same muscle.. inclines and declines and different techniques just target other supporting muscle groups..
I don't have that much muscles, I did the whole workout 5 sets (couldn't do more) but now I don't feel nothing on my chest, no burning, no pain, nothing..
@sfarosu It is normal. You also work out your triceps when doing exercises for the pecs, obviously. One more thing, check your form when doing the the dumbbell tricep overheads. Do not bend your elbows when doing them and when you pull them over your head, flex your chest muscles. Hope this helps! :D
@sfarosu Triceps are buring from the pullback, chances are your chest is built up more than your triceps. So if you want to really ge the chest in. I would reccomend either raising the weight or longer reps

@sfarosu any push exercise will work your triceps, once yourt triceps catch up you'll be able to increase weight and get more out of it for your chest.

I guess it depends on what weight level you're at, but as long as you are BURNING MORE calories you are taking in, it really doesn't matter what you eat. Now, like I said, it depends on what weight level you're at, so maybe it wont work as well for him, BUT, he can do something such as walking or small dumb bell workouts. Honestly speed walking for a short distance, and then walking should be fine.

@ethanisdope i started lifting in ending of 9th grade (freshman year) and im a junior now I was 5'5 and im 5'8 now but both my parents are 5'5 n 5'4 so Im right no track. just dont do SUPER HEAVY weight and no over the head exersises and your good. and yes I asked my doctor also he said theres no studys/ physical proof showing that it stunts your growth. :D

@ergonz88 Cardio is more important that weight training bro! so yeah it's ok, also it helps get more blood round the body so your chest rebuilds slightly faster :)
I've been watching your videos for ages now they help a lot, i have an iphone so im generally listening to these in the gym. Just one question with this video, how many days a week should this be done? and could i do additional lifts with this in one day?
i work out all the time a 1hour to 1hr 30min each one of my set can be from 220 to 500 at set non stop no breaks intill iam done with the set than a water break 30 seconds most biceps and triceps is this bad for my joint? i take fish oil but some times i still get crack nothing bad but its there
@Super300CE It's not about how many you can do in one set, resting will prevent you from pulling muscles or getting tendonitis from hard exercise. From personal experience I found doing what I couldn't do without resting ended up giving me Tendonitis and Pulled muscles all over my body.
i think my stabilizer muscles on my right side are slightly stronger than my left.. as a consequence my left arm can't keep form as well and now my right chest is a little bigger ;_;.. Mike, what can i do? PLEASE. i don't want to have one boob bigger than the other

@scorpion4z i do dumbbell presses on the floor, the only thing is that you won't get as much range to do the exercise. thats why i do more weight instead

@BayKing220 There's no workout that will lower your bodyfat. You HAVE to watch what you eat. No more mcdonalds, pizza whatever. Lean meat, fish, brown rice, veggies etc. And go cycling/running or whatever cardio you want for 30 minutes a day. If you can do that, you'll be half size within the year.
Is it true that doing the excercise slower helps to gain muscle? Plus I was wondering if it's better to do both longer and faster excercises and also slower but heavier , or just one of the two ways to do an excercise? Please help me out here Mike :(
@cassinator3000 what workouts are u doing? and are u changing it up? like doing the same weight and the same exercises isnt going to be too good. try changing it up like every 3 weeks. and are u eating enought protein, carbs etc?
@ugtpowned I usually do 10 reps of flat bench press, 10 reps of flat dumbbell press, 10 reps of flys, then 10 reps of dips, all 3 sets on each exercise. My protein intake is definitely up there. I have large arms and shoulders, i just lack the muscle mass and can't seem to get it :/

i work out all the time a 1hour to 1hr 30min each one of my set can be from 220 to 500 at set non stop no breaks intill iam done with the set than a water break 30 seconds most biceps and triceps is this bad for my joint? i take fish oil but some times i still get crack nothing bad but its there

@Super300CE It's not about how many you can do in one set, resting will prevent you from pulling muscles or getting tendonitis from hard exercise. From personal experience I found doing what I couldn't do without resting ended up giving me Tendonitis and Pulled muscles all over my body.

i think my stabilizer muscles on my right side are slightly stronger than my left.. as a consequence my left arm can't keep form as well and now my right chest is a little bigger ;_;.. Mike, what can i do? PLEASE. i don't want to have one boob bigger than the other

@Fatpandas2014 I had the same problem, try doing incline dumbbell bench press everyday for a couple of weeks. It worked for me :)

mike ive been working out for about 2years, am 18 and lbs 5'8" and am not sure if im working out correctly. i usually do 3 sets of 10reps and on the last one i struggle with the last few and thats without a spotter. iwas workin out and this man working out( pretty jacked) told me to go bacck to the machines and work up from there and get onto free weights after a while. im suremy form iscorrectand itry not to go over what i cant handle. i just want to know when is the best timeto go ontomachines

@BayKing220 There's no workout that will lower your bodyfat. You HAVE to watch what you eat. No more mcdonalds, pizza whatever. Lean meat, fish, brown rice, veggies etc. And go cycling/running or whatever cardio you want for 30 minutes a day. If you can do that, you'll be half size within the year.

@cassinator3000 what workouts are u doing? and are u changing it up? like doing the same weight and the same exercises isnt going to be too good. try changing it up like every 3 weeks. and are u eating enought protein, carbs etc?

@ugtpowned I usually do 10 reps of flat bench press, 10 reps of flat dumbbell press, 10 reps of flys, then 10 reps of dips, all 3 sets on each exercise. My protein intake is definitely up there. I have large arms and shoulders, i just lack the muscle mass and can't seem to get it :/
