  • your not supposed to workout on your abs everyday , that will rruin the whole purpose , youre supposed to do it 3 times a week.

  • I've always wondered if it's harder for women to do crunches due to the weight of their breasts...

    Any woman care to enlighten me? Do you feel the weight on your chest as you come up or it's not noticeable?

    Because I know women do push-ups on knee often because of the added weight on their chest.

  • Hi Emmy, I just wanted to thank you for posting these workouts that do not require a "product" or expensive equipment. They are quick, easy and can be modified to fit each persons fitness level. Side note....ignore the haters and sexual deviants.

  • A word on obliques: If you want to create the illusion of a narrow waist build up your shoulders and do a minimum of oblique work. They (obliques) are easily built and overdoing it will only thicken your waist when viewed from the front. You don't want chunky obliques.

  • Boringly mechanical, and exercise #3 exercises the psoas, or whatever it's called, the big 2 muscles that raise the thighs. The psoas is not the abdominal muscle group. Better to sense and think your way into exercise IMO, rather than brutally and mechanically REPEAT contractions while having wilfull mindless and narcissistically ambitious thoughts. It won't last, boredom will prevail.

    My qualifications - nil. Like hers I suspect.

    Actually I would like to apologise for the mean spirited vein in my comment - if anybody reads it . I can't stand viewers who slag off at others videos.

  • @cestoblique If you don't feel exercise #3 in your stomach, you are probably swinging your legs up towards your chest. What you should do instead is lift with the stomach with the legs already bent. You could even try stretching your legs upward as if you are trying to stand on the ceiling. That will help keep them from swinging up towards your chest. It's really the same thing as a crunch except the lower body is raised instead of the upper body.

    I totally agree with your description - but that's not what she's doing!

    I don't exercise, I walk. I used to swim and 'do' Yoga. Yoga shows you at least how mindless most exercise practice is. What is most being strengthened here is physical vanity, will, and endurance of boredom.

  • @cestoblique : Well, it depends upon how you define "exercise". Walking is just another movement. I consider it exercise and it is the most natural form for humans. Our ancestors never did formal exercise (by the gym definition). They walked a lot more than we do and their lives in general involved a lot more manual effort. I've been using specific yoga postures for a herniated disc problem and have been impressed by the effectiveness of yoga. Cheers!

  • @UrbanChick90 if you do this everyday and youre not cheating yourself on this workout, you will see results in less than 2 weeks, 99% guaranteed. then again, nutrition is a big part of getting abs as well. and "results" does not mean a full sculpted abdominal stomach, but rather an easier workout and a slimmer waist
