oh man, i never saw Mr. Malkovich like this. He always has an air of superiority and suggests perfect confidence, but it seemed to me, that Ferguson had 'the upper hand' there. (not to say that Malkovich seems cocky, just adept and alpha, but still, i must press this, humble and very likable)

Circumcision is a Jewish, Muslim and Christian ritual. I don't know why non Jews, Muslims or Christians perform such acts.  Read in Exodus, Leviticus(in the Bible if you have one) what circumcision did for the Jews. A perfect war strategy.

@shgibby61981 Actually, I'm going to have to correct you a little. Circumcision is commonly referred to as a Christian rite, but truthfully it's not. In fact, the majority of Christians(outside the US, anyway) do not practice it.

Various cultural reasons are at hand here, but another undeniable factor is that, according to the New Testament, circumcision is outdated and utterly meaningless to one's salvation as a Christian. (Romans 3:30, I Corinthians 7:18, Galatians 5:2, Galatians 6:15, etc.)

@The505Guys Ferguson's a Scot, so having a dinner cap would be a given, but an American like Malkovich is actually a minority because most Americans think foreskins are ticking time bombs and so they sons cut within a day or so of coming out of the womb. As these kids grow up, they're instilled with the same absurd ideas about how "filthy" and "ugly" the foreskin is and how much "better off" they are without it, and then their sons are cut, too. Rinse and repeat.

It's sad, but true.
