Why would say the supra is a non turbo for sure? NSX arnt slow non turbo supra kind of are because of the weight even a stock supra has a worse power or similar power to weight compared to a NSX. I own 92 SC300 5MT (very simlar to a na supra but a hair more weight) and i also own a 91 NSX 5MT i can tell u it with a c30a is much quicker and faster than a non turbo 2jzge.

well the supra does have more power than the nsx, it does have a better and stronger drivetrain. the nsx cannot make 1000+hp on its six cylinder engine and drivetrain whereas the supra can and does. the nsx is cool because it is MR and has a very advanced chassis with all the aluminum used in the construction but stock supra vs stock nsx the supra will spank it all the time

@jimbojims There's a NSX with 1000hp. Love Fab NSX 1000hp. It's not that the NSX engine can't make 1000hp. It's that the NSX engine is so complicated and advanced, its hard to tune unlike the supra's Turbo 2JZ. The inline 2JZ will make more torque than the NSX therefore the better 0-60 time. The NSX engine was made for high end power where as the 2JZ was made for all round powerband. 0-60 Supra faster but 1/4 mile NSX-R and Supra run the same. Stock NSX-R will spank a Supra around the track.

@c312eal i do agree with you in some ways but there are supras out there making 1700-1800hp, there can never be an NSX that can make that, 1000hp is great but supras are def capable of making more power. on the track i agree with you that the NSX will probably beat a supra, not spank it, but probably beat it.

@c312eal the front engine inline 6 is just 100x easier to work with. the honda engines are great for building up. there are quite a few 700+whp 4 cylinder honda engines out there. what makes it difficult is, the mid engine placement makes the NSX hard to deal with. Piping... cooling... it's a huge pain. Plus the fact that it is pretty pricey to get a decent shape NSX.

i have a 1996 road and track magazine that has the acura nsx along with the 96 toyota supra twin turbo and a 96 skyline gt-r33. the NSX owns the others in performance, handling and top speed not to mention braking from 65mph, acceleration and more bang for the buck
