  • Why does this sound quicker than the CD version?

  • I am so fucing mainiac!! i love this band HAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all my buddies is fire!!!!

  • I love this song - perhaps my favorite from the album but here it sounds like the recording is spinning a little too fast. I haven't checked it out though. It definitely feels rushed!

  • @reesho -says it's pitched up 10-20% with key correction-- Guessing that means it is speeded up- like you said- Also it's off the 45 not the lp- if that effects the sound in any noticeable respect

  • @keltyk - I neglected to notice that info. Thanks. I can't listen to it at this speed. It just takes the magic out of it IMHO. I'll take the incorrectly pitched tempo any day.

  • Great Tune............

  • I am obsessed with this album♥

  • Fan-freakin-tastic. Out of this world. This is rare and not many have posted these tracks from CWOAB. Many thanks.

  • Tis just a way of bypassing the ID match ting :D

  • I agree tis pure brilliance :)

  • I first heard this in high school when a friend of mine let me borrow his LP of CWOAB. He told me, "I KNOW you haven't heard anything quite like this." He was right.....Rest Cure was one of my favorite tunes from the album. Thanks for posting this, even if the speed takes you by surprise. :)

  • Cheers glad to bring back the memories & all :D

  • Whoa, the speedy version is giving me a seizure, hahahhahaha! ...seriously...

  • hehe, good, good, LOL

  • I haven't heard this since I was a freshman in High School- I used to listen to it on the jukebox at the HS cafeteria. Thanks for posting!

  • class, no probs, hope it brings back some gr8 memories, will be posting a normal speed version and various other stuff when ive re sorted my stereotube settings :)

  • I thought it was a bit fast. It's been a long time since I heard it -like what 40 years?

  • yeah somthing like that, i was still 9yrs in the making when it was released LOL.

i always play out a bit above normal speed so thats how i like to post, kinda adds that groove or swing to the night :)

  • that's my favorite Arthur Brown's track -> thanks for posting it dude :D

  • no probs marn, yeah i like it too, what do ya think abt the speed, i like to play stuff a little faster when i play out was wondering weither or not to play normal for unmixed uploads, let me know n check back n sub for more :)

  • Mine version of this song is slower..did you speed it up..it sounds a lot faster..

  • yeah its normal speed is abt 120-125bpm i pitch most tracks up abt 10% when playing records, for a bit more swing/livelyness, so this is abt 135bpm but my decks have key correction so the actual tone/pitch is the same as the normal speed.

  • Yeah!

Its really speeded up, but the pitch is the same!

    Really cool!

  • quality innit :)
