Estoy impresionado por el resultado de tu canto. Tuve buenos maestros , pero ninguno me enseño a sacar provecho de la voz ...no se si soy claro .Seguro tiene q ver con lo intenso de tu carrera. Estudie una temporada en Milán con F Corelli quien me decía haber cambiado su cabeza a partir de la relación desinteresada de Volpi. .

Creo q cierta forma de cantar (q no es tu caso ) ya no interesa.

Hoy recibí la 2° clase desde q te conozco, en aquel concurso Traviata 2000

Quite beautiful! Not as stentorian or as visceral as Del Monaco and Corelli --- how many could be? --- but imbued with a tenderness that is often neglected in this wonderful, exciting aria. His sound is so beautiful, and the modulation in tone is just gorgeous.

Prise de son défaillante ou aigüs étouffés? Quant à l'interprétation, les accents toniques pas toujours bien plaçés... c'est un ibérique, pas un italien. Domingo était presque parfait, lui. Je vais peut-être vous faire sauter en l'air, mais je préfère Del M.onaco dans ce genre d'air.

Domingo era tenore limitato nella voce e sopratutto negli acuti.Há cominciato la sua carriera come baritono di zarzuela e há finito la sua carriera come baritono verdiano interpretanto Rigoletto /buffone/.

Che cosa c'é in comune tra Del Monaco e Domingo?Niente.

Wow. I used to love his voice. This is not the role for him at all. The tempo is entirely too slow. He is pushing. His timbre is wrong and his voice is too light.

Demasiado lírico, ciertamente, y el tempo es lentísimo, pero canta con delicadeza, con gusto y con expresión. Cualidades éstas que no dejan de ser necesarias para interpretar al poeta francés y que otros cantantes olvidan centrándose exclusivamente en su vertiente heroica. Seamos positivos, por tanto, aunque reconozcamos las carencias y limitaciones de Álvarez en este rol. Un saludo a todos.

@papidou1934 Cet enregistrement soulève des réserves (une évidence pour moi) et ... beaucoup de passion aussi, heureusement. Un ami l'a entendu à Bastille également et l'a trouvé tout à fait à la hauteur. Alors la chose me parait simple : il ne faut le comparer à personne (ni Corelli, ni Del Monaco, ni...) et apprécier les qualités qu'il offre au public aujourd'hui.
