  • magkamukha silang dalawa.

  • I hate it how people keep saying Charice acts boastful while Arnel is humble. They are both pretty humble in my opinion. The difference is that Charice is more of a performer while Arnel is more of a straight up singer.

Remember that Charice has been winning singing competitions since she was a kid, and usually in song competitions, showmanship is a big part of winning. Having good or exaggerated showmanship on stage does not immediately mean that person is arrogant.

  • ipakanta nyo kay sarah geronimo yan!!.yung note to god!!

  • Both Great Singers... Arnel and Charice...

But their difference is on their showmanship...

Charice acts boastful... but Arnel never did in any of his performance...

That's why Charice's Performance Sometimes just Sounds too Showy...

Personal Opinion: eitherway i idolized them both...

    Great Performance...

  • Both Arnel and Charice have their ghosts - Arnel has Steve Perry, Charice has Regine.

  • shock... 5:03

  • anong title nung kinanta ni Arnel? anyone?

  • So proud to be a Filipino, two talented people =))

  • They are definitely the very best with their God-given talents! So sad for those who don't appreciate them & say negative things because are just jealous & bitter people! So proud of you, Charice & Arnel, and may God continue to bless you both!

  • This is an excellent performance by these two incredible artists and I can't believe the audience didn't even appreciate it. I think Filipinos are very passive.

  • mga pilipino talaga....

  • These two are our very best. Let's give them the respect and appreciation that they deserve.

  • why not just appreciate the performers and the performance instead of arguing...you hate those who don't applause, you made comments about the network or channel so what makes you different than the rest...well no one can change the culture that has been lived up to now..atleast they made itbig on the other side of the world...

  • FUCK YOU ABS-CBN A HUB OF OPPORTUNIST PEOPLE.......

  • kng aq lng sana nsa audience papalakpak talaga aq ng non-stop, kz i will really feel lucky to have to listen to charice&arnel,,, kht hatakin pa aq ng organizers i will still be clapping all the way!!! wohoo! so blessed to hear this voices-GOD given talent:)))

  • This generations greatest voice belongs to Charice and she's representing a country that has so much talent. I'm glad she has opened a door for the next generation of talent to step through. Be proud that she represents you. Every time she steps on stage it's the same as Manny stepping into the ring, they're showing the world that "THE PHILIPPINES" is World Class.

  • Wow, both selfmade succesful artists, they oversome obstacles in life through the power of their passion and dream.

  • whew! im sweatin!!

  • @jc090293 very much true, I agree with you! Not only that they are indolent ... jealousy is very much in the character ... my father describe them as flowers and daggers. Right hand with flowers for you, but other hand behind their back is a dagger! Many pinoy's from the Phillipines are having difficulty accepting and embracing Charice and Arnel's success because they are evidence of their failure and misplace pride, and of course their obsession with looks rather than talent! Shame!

  • I love you charice

  • KELAN KAYA TAYO MAGE-EXCEL SA STAGE SET UP ?

  • as long as you're doing it with all your heart,, eventhough there's no applause,, it will always be great,,,

  • fil. are indolent in nature (rizal said)>>> this proves a lot. wot a shame.

  • basta alam na magaling sila...bagamat sila ang maliliit sa bansa sa larangan ng "height" sa musika..sila naman ang may pinakamataas ang boses sa bansa..keep it up..just a fan^^

  • mayayaman mapapapride ata nanunuod jan....hehehe^^ manhid??joke...^^

    more on criticizing than appreciating..

kaya buti pa banyaga..naaapreciate.hehe...just my opinion no hard feelings..peace.

  • wow galing nila

  • this attitude sad to say wont change for the obvious reason...... filipinos are not just hard to please but also, appreciation is and will always be base upon ones skin tone.... too much western culture influence. they wont even lift a finger if u are there kind..... pero kung foreign act kht na dinaan sa sayaw ang pagkanta hnd na magkanda ugaga sa pagtitili at pagpalakpak!......... pathetic!

  • them doing a duet is like music from heaven!

  • Pinoy's attitude for appreciation is still in developing stage as the same as for the country is in developing that's why majority of Filipinos don't know to appreciate someone of having great talents... lol. They have not learned it in school or with in the family how to appreciate only they have learned it how to put someone down. Just look for every developed counties they are well and highly regarded for their heart breaking appreciation and fast recognition to someone with great talent.

  • two great voice! pero sa tono di pwede silang magsabay! different singing style sa isat isa. two internationally recognized singer from Pinas pero audience dehins parin natutu paran de javu di manlang pinalakpakan. you don't deserve these two...shame on you.

  • nag-iisa kand idol ko charice love you ...

  • grabe na ag effort ng dlwa ung audeince deadma lg? hahahahha..nkkahiya tlga..as if they care? mmaos mn ag dlwa sa pgkanta..

  • from malaysia; charice was overrated.. arnel is the best!!!

  • @jolius1 Ha? Charice is overrated?! How is that? i don't believe that's true. They say she's good, and her being regarded as good in even an understatement.

  • Let me tell you, huwag niyo husgahan ang mga tao dito. This people are proud of those two great singers. Kaya lang kaya siya nagiging parang wala lang eh dahil maraming magagaling na singer sa atin na dito. ska excuse me @kapayako145, if you envision crab mentality as a negative aspect, you are one of the reason of the nation's downfall. So pessimistic. Dapat tignan neu ang crab mentality in a positive way, Filipino are known doon dahil tinutulungan ang isa't isa pataas hindi pababa.

  • @MrShadowassasin07 i dont get what you just said. there's nothing positive with crab mentality! and the audience here are sickening, they don't deserve good entertainment. if they are as good as you proclaim them to be then why are they rotting their asses on the chairs. great talents know how to appreciate other great talents..

charice and arnel deserves to be the best... those artists sitting there deserves nothing but to sit back and just watch.

  • @MrShadowassasin07 i will disagree with your idea. crowd applausing bec they give respect, acknowledge and honor the singerst talent. who cares if there are many local singers. charice and arnel are well

applauded and honored in diff. countries why cant you do this there? this is another form of crab mentality.

this is negative traits never positive. crab mentality is in filipino culture and is difficult to get off. even here in

america, you can see and feel that state of mind.

Kahit isang whoootwoot man lang. Para kayong mga patay jan. Lol

  • this is another prime example why too many people always relate 'crab mentality' with Filipinos. Intentional or not, a simple acknowledgement that great performers (known internationally) just performed or entertained them. If they can clap to a politician who is virtually ineffective or better yet dumb as a door knob, why not for these people who are creating a good name to Filipinos. Enough said...disappointing.

  • ,,,anu bayan parang mga patay ung mga tao khit kunting ingay wala manlang!!!

  • GANYAN TALAGA ANG TAO SATIN SMALL TIME LANG INABOT... MGA DUGYOT MAMATAY KAYO SA INGIT LOL...

  • nice.. Charice looks Hot.

  • AN AUDIENCE THAT DOESN'T APPRECIATE.....philippine audience, sa totoo lang.

AT MGA TAMAD EVEN SA BUHAY NILA TAMAD KAYA WALANG ASENSO ANG BAYAN.

  • ano po title ng first song?

  • waaaaaaaaaa.. what a boring audience..

  • I feel so bad for them, they were giving the performance their emotions and leaving it on the stage esp when she sang NTG and the audience just wasn't responding. They shud be bashed in the head

  • Charice is so beautiful...

  • to: jhale1390 ur right, and so you vans0685, nasa pnas na nga buti pa don sa US standing ovation pa mga tao don.... what a shame....

  • wag na tayong magtaka.... this is a very private event....by invitation only....kaso lang ang inimbitahan lang yung mga stars na natalo ...... walang awards.....siguro consolation prize yung invitation....nya..ha..haaa........ha..aha..haa..haa..hoo..hoo..hoo

  • ala kuwenta audience!!!

  • an excellent performance of two excellent performers.

  • ufff these ppl didnt know how lucky they were to witness these two talented artists perform right in front of them!! im dying to see them in person my god!

  • naka-posas ata yung audience.hahaha..

    i really love charice!

  • ABS CBN????come on guys dont be wonder if all the people there are damn lousy...charice lose the competition once in abs cbn...so????they only appreciate the mediocre talent they have...but great talentss...????mmmm...they cant appreciate that...envy....

mayayabang mga tao jan kala mo cno...come on...shame on u filipinos...

  • watta boring audience. who would want to perform in front of zombies? it's so different from her performances here in the US and elsewhere. The audience is always so genuine, generous and appreciative. 'kala mo kung sinong mga royalty yung nasa harap. haha! who are they kidding? please...

  • anu ba 2ng mga taong 2?!

    WLANG MGA TENGA?!

    JOLOGS nman !

mga local artist pa ung iba dyan kc PMPC awards . .

    ewan !

    fuck ol of u!!!!

  • Will someone please start handing out Red Bulls to the audience, or strong coffee or something! LOL

Charice and Arnel gave it their all, and the vegetables just sat there...

  • @pinaybug lol!!! stupid audiences, don't know what quality voices are. and what real singing performance is. this is such a great opportunity to be able to listen to these two great pride of phils.

  • mahirap tlga i please ang pinoy audience when it comes to singing.. hahahahahaha.. bakit pag si sarah ang umaawit eh nagtitilian pa audience and pumalakpak tlga

  • this is classic ! the 2 best singer in the world! im so proud to be pinooooy!

  • sa totoo lang, matagal ko ng pansin din yan. bakit sa salita madalas nating marinig na sinasabing 'where happy for others success' pero sa totoo lang pansinin mo sa kilos kabaliktaran, di ba? pagtalikod pa niyan ay siraan pa. can we not be truely happy sa success ng mga kababayan natin? God never created bad human, it's our own choice kung piliin natin ang good or bad life, forget it?

  • wala man lang palakpak from the audience grabe!!!!

  • @adlemepero ang pinoy pagdating s ibang bansa angsisipag

  • Hi...What about JOURNEY...?

  • @PERRYTheBestofJRNY

there is no journey without steve perry...and even then they were marginal.

  • @lowsodium36 Sure..Journey before Steve did NOTHING! Since Steve, they keep trying to re-invent a Steve look alike/sound alike. If Journey thinks they are a successful band without him, why don't they go in their OWN direction, & stop trying to keep that Steve Perry sound. it's because the Question," what about Journey"?

  • @ YUE hir @ arnel and charice are tow of the most wonderful Filipino artist who made it this far. So proud..

    hi to MARIE ( Y U E )

  • galing

  • hahahaha

nangakanganga sa bilib ang mga nanonood

    kaya hindi mkapagreact !!!!!!!!

    hmpf!!!!!!!!!

khit man lng 1 clap wala!!!!!!

  • does lowsodium sing in Apache or in Mohican?.....NO ...Americans sing in ENGLISH which is NOT their NATIVE tongue !!

As far as karaoke music is concerned....does the same go for movies when USA makes films of Robin Hood, Alice in Wonderland and countless versions of Shakespeare plays?

USA makes music and Films in English because England spread the language through the world why should Filipinoes not do the same !

  • @vanz0685 TAMAD TALAGA MGA PILIPINO NAKAKAHIYA!

LOL

  • @josephloverydel pinoy ako pero di ako tamad pumalakpak, hehehe...

  • @vanz0685 ano ba expect nio sa mga pinoy - the most kj audience the world have....grabeee

  • @vanz0685

duh obviously.....nakakahiya nmn s mga bigating audience dto mapagod p cla pumalakpak....

syempre mga educated at kilalang tao sila...mas daig p nga nila si oprah at ellen....

hahaha.....well maybe thats what we called "ENVY" :-) sorry only in ur dreams dead audience....hehe

  • bawal b pumalakpak ?

  • is there such a thing as original filipino music? all this is just good karoeke

  • @lowsodium36 yes there is... but i think they just sing songs that everyone knows... they both have their own albums...

  • @badmintonlover again i ask is THERE any ORIGINAL music...or is everything karoake?

  • then that is not original...it is karoake

  • @lowsodium36 hoy tanga malinis ba tainga moh.. listen carefully WTF

  • @lowsodium36 I think you have a problem with your English and your spelling. It's your definition of karaoke by the way. We have a lot original songs. We are a bilingual country. Both English and Filipino are our official languages. If you have a problem with that, do further research on our history and the history of the U.S. and Spain. Most of all keep an open mind when you read about history especially the era of colonization.

  • @lowsodium36 Of course. There are a lot of original Filipino music. Can't you google? Some are in English or Tagalog or any of the native dialects. But can you understand Tagalog or Bisaya or any of our dialects?

  • some are in English? then that is not original. as far as ur dialects...i don't but music is universal...but it should be original...not karoake.

  • pambato ng pinoy

  • kamukha ni Arnel dito si Jun Pyo ng Boys Over Flowers. hahahaha. two of them is so amazing. :))

  • @bloodfury15

    eww naman db?

gwapo kya papa junpyo to compare him to arnel

    no ofense

  • AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!! I love you charice!!!!!

  • The best filipino singers making it BIG in the U.S.!! So PROUD of them!!!!!

  • We are hard to please because, we are filipinos have the sharpest of ears. We are just critically detailed when it comes to music. Criticizing is not bad at all. Because the more you are criticized the more you want to improve. The more you are aware.

  • I love Charice and Arnel both of them very good.

  • mmmm... i didn't like the duet... or maybe i didn't like the arrangement of the song?#$^& >_< nevertheless, good powerful voices... boring audience heheh...

charice sang I BELIEVE perfectly here watch?v=lYFZjWpADIU this is one of my favorites :-)

  • Sorry, I forgot to include this... Vocal Ranges: Soprano: C4 - C6 Mezzo-soprano: A3 - A5 Contralto: F3 - F5 Tenor: C3 - C5 Baritone: F2 - F4 Bass: E2 - E4 Males: Bass - Baritone - Tenor - Countertenor Females: Contralto - Mezzo-soprano - Soprano
  • Charice was great here but overpowering.. =/

AP did a great job too despite missing some high notes, and here's why...

The vocal range for the song "I Believe" by Fantasia is Contralto F3-F5.

Charice's voice falls within the range of Soprano C4-C6.

AP's voice falls within the range of Tenor C3-C5 or maybe higher (C6-C9)

(This is not the first time they did something like this to Mr. AP)

Now go figure it out guys.

  • @Viscus21

    interesting..

maybe you could make a clip of AP's vocal range assessment?..=D

there are a few clips out there where AP really hit super high notes..

i just dont know the corresponding note technically..hehe

hope youll soon make a vid..

  • These two arrived, happened, simultaneously but independently. It is a cosmic alignment. But together, it seems, Charice subconsciously resists the melding. Arnel misses a high note once in a while but he is generally excellent. Charice is dominant no matter who she's with, lately.

  • wow ...i dont think they had any practice or guidance ..the duet part is very bad

  • charice is perfectly amazing!! perfect combinition of singer...

  • the backup singers sucks! it's ruining the blending..damn!

  • @ichisuke03: Damn right... >:)

  • She was so amazing poweful voice.

  • audience? i think there all stunned thats why no reaction ahahahaha

  • their voices dont harmonize...but on their own their voices of course are brilliant

  • love you charice

  • hehehe...hahaha... arnel come on... starting 0:29 arnel forgot the line..hahaha.. its like hu hu hu... hahaha... and He wasnt able to reach the sharp note of the last part "when you believe"... whatta floppppp

  • @clartz " hehehe ...hahaha....." are you 12 years old or just stupid? ..sigh..jagoff!

  • @squeaky00 hehehe.... may be i am 12 years old but i am slightly stupid i admit that... hehehe.... keep up the Goooood works buddy.. take care always.... XoXo from the philippines

  • great singers, awful harmonies, did they even rehearse?

  • arnel and charice are already international artist, pero grabe nman toh event na toh wala b budget for this two world class performer. wala man lang orchestra or anything, puro edited na recorded songs.. this two performer (charice and arnel) are really proffessional- vow ako s inyo. s event organiser/producer - vow n kyo and next time s iba nyo na ipapahawak ung ganyan klase event.. oldies ..

  • audiences are usually dead in PI :-)

  • Me encantan los 2.....

  • ..wow idol ..SNA MKA duet kta ..luv u ..

  • Wtf is wrong with the audience?

  • what a lousy audience..

  • tanginang mga audience to pota kau wala kaung kwenta,

  • the note to god reinvention didnt work out well.. so ugly... she shud have sang it whole.. or remove one chorus perhaps if they wanna shorten the time..

another thing.. arnel should have stayed within a man's octave. he need not to sound like a girl.. and it is charice's job to reach the high notes of the song.. not his'..

these two are world class artists..but with this performance, they didnt seem like so..

  • Wow! Great voices of generation, Arnel Pineda of Journey and Charise of David Foster. TY.

  • wow!!!

  • both good voices, but doesn´t work TOGETHER - sorry. I only can say "well done". Nevertheless a good song.

  • we are so proud of you guys.keep it up.You are simply amazing.

  • Your rediculous. They were amazing! They are solo artists. But they both have very unique and powerful voices. I loved it.

  • what is the name of the song?

  • @CutiecutyStar Believe.. Sa American Idol ata toh. Not sure though.

  • @sophistiq yup kay fantasia barino

  • whatever.....

  • OmG! i luv the LASt part! the falsetto!! hehehe!

  • Charice's necklace here is same at her performance of LIPAD NG PANGARAP! OMG i luv CHARICE SO much!

  • Charice has a good voice but she's singing over and drowning out Arnel. Her voice is average. Arnel's voice is pure and poweful. I like her voice but I wouldn't buy her music based on this video.

  • @doucelait1 charice singing on key with the song I Believe. Arnel is struggling with it which is understandable because it's on a female key. Although he showed prowess that he managed to reach the notes even on a very high key, it's unfair to say that she drowns him out when she is just singing the song normally.

  • @PickleJarr : yeah definitely. we should always be fair when giving criticisms to every artists.

  • ang ganda ni charice dito grabeh....

  • yeah...tama ang cnabi ng mga nauna..kaya i2 n charice kahit wala c arnel..jajajajaja..mas bagay p nga ky charice i2ng song..uhm....walang kokntra,...ang ko2tra,....talo!!!!! weeeh..harharhar!!!! go cha!!!!
