I used to love this cartoon so much when I was little - I remember every word to this theme after years and years without seeing it - but I really think I love it more now, especially when I compare it to the meaningless tripe they force kids to consume these days.

I remember getting up to watch this one Saturday morning to find it was cancelled due to some ferry tipping over (think it was the 1987 Zeebrugge disaster) i was gutted, how inconsiderate of them!

I used to dance to this tune around the living room and I fancied Dogtanian love interest. With her little poodle nose...hmmmm SO cute! I haven't found her yet in human form but I keep the candle burning. We had so much good TV back in the late 70's n early 80's. And we turned out Ok as grown ups. Sometimes though I think I never have really grown up. the adult world of politics and War and being all serious.. forget it. Life is like a cartoon and the Sun is like a big eye watching its own Telly

Althoiugh I remeber this cartoon, the theme will forever remind me of the BBC contemporary sitcom "2 Pints of Lager and a packet of crisps". It's about late teens early twenty somethings, and has some crude, but very funny humour.
