Good demo of the two different tones. What value capacitor did you use for the mod? Most info online shows a three way switch with an off/mild high-cut/large high-cut configuration. I split the difference, and now feel I should have went with the larger cap. Thanks!
Thank you so much for posting this. I've had a devil of a time finding a good comparison of the stock and modded tones. I have a DD-5 that I want to do this mod too. Thanks for helping me decide! This is much cheaper than buying a Memory Man! ;D

I do realize the difference significantly. That harsh sound is pretty much gone.
