"No Answer" - that's great! The US version was titled that by mistake. Supposedly, when asked what the album title was, the response was "no answer," in that the album didn't have a title (self-titled.) It may be apocryphal, but it's still a great story.
One of the best songs Lynne ever wrote! The rest of ELO's debut ("No Answer") is one of those inspired monstrosities (like King Crimson's "Lizard") whose sheer strangeness seems better with age.
Bugs me that Roy Wood doesn't sing his bit, it's obviously his voice. Modest as ever.

I 1st saw them on the Old Grey Whistle Test BBC2,this is the song they played{it was ages ago lol}What a journey their music became.
