I'm going to have my filter removed in a few weeks. This video made me feel a little less nervous about it. My doc explained that it wasn't a good idea to keep it in. I have a history of Pulmonary Embolism (I've had two). I recently underwent a hysterectomy which we believe will end the risk for P.E.'s and the filter was placed just before the procedure.
I am feeling wonderful since the surgery and I am so grateful for the doctors' help and guidance.
I'm having my vena cava removed on Wednesday. I can't wait. I've been having pain in the heel of one foot and stiffness in both legs.
