This game comes down to being able to read your opponent. There is no math equation here that can justify one choice over another. Trust me I've tried. Theoretically though, I think most people would choose to split because it's the safe route, but not me because you're risk when choosing split over steal is the same as when you choose steal over split. So why not just go with the choice that gives a higher payout? There needs to be another element to this game for this game to be perfected imo.

The Split or Steal part is the same as Friend or Foe. The front game is a mixture of Deal or No deal and Liar's Dice.

And the ball mixer and distributor is funky cool. One of the better game show "toys" out there today.
