Quite possibly the finest Italian horror/goth schlock fluff film ever made. It ranks up there with the illustrious and notoriously stupid (stupid in a good way) Black Sunday 1960.
The dialogue in this film is superlative and riveting and I nearly died laughing on my first viewing.

Love this movie. They did a good job -dubbed voice sounds exactly like Christopher Lee. He is beautiful in this film. Reminds me of Heathcliff combined with Peter Quint. I could never understand the S and M fetish but if it was him............ lol

@blacksdocrack Lee was not able to do it because he went to another film. He regrets this.
His voice would be much better!

The Whip and the Body is a gem that deserves MUCH more recognition than it does. Daliah Lavi is simply stunning in this movie. A masterpiece.
