@moscosmos1989 Islam is a religion of peace, but humans are the ones with error. Not Islam. So therefore the 'muslim' users here making offensive remarks are to blame, not their chosen faith. Likewise with whoever is of a different faith. It is human error. we sin. Hopefully whoever with foul comments can grow and better themselves. Inshallah.

@deez723 Religion of peace? Are you sure? Have you read the Quran? I'm going to assume that you haven't. I'd suggest you read it and then come back to me and tell me what the punishment is for apostasy. Also, tell me what 'allah' supposedly has planned for everyone that is not muslim (christians, jews, hindus, atheists, agnostics, etc etc)

@moscosmos1989 I have read it. And well to be honest the quran, bible, torah, all have extreme measures (punishments) for committing sin... so the question how to decipher what seems fitting what 'sin' I guess.
Every religion basically views another follower of a different faith as someone who is on the path to destruction so to speak and hellbound.
Nothing really different bout them all. Same principles really in my opinion. I respect you have you view on it. I am only stating mine.

@deez723 Yea and all I'm saying is that it's quite a fallacy to claim that Islam (or any other of the monotheistic religions) is a religion of peace. The quran is full of violence and hate as are the hadith and the sunnah.

@moscosmos1989 My only issue, not with you mind you.. is just with people filtering out Islam as the questionable faith... I think if Islam is to be disected, then it needs to be done with the Torah and Bible. All three can be labelled as 'nuts' many a time throughout them. And at times it does really seem the most hypocritical people and aggressive are the faithful, devout religious folk.

@deez723 Fair enough. In my opinion the torah, bible and quran are pretty much the same thing. As an atheist I am truly concerned at what people are willing to do in the name of their god. I think the reason why at the moment it's Islam that faces the most criticism is because at the moment, there aren't many jews and christians going are blowing themselves up or hijacking planes.

@moscosmos1989 I totally see your point. I also was thinking about it the other day, how I am living in the West. And in the East it is us viewed as terrorists. Not by all but some, like here and vice versa. Some view us as a threat as we enter their countries uninvited, collateral damage occurs (where it actuality it is them losing innocent lives by the thousands) and they have that angst in them, and think revenge is the way. Not excusing it, don't get me wrong. Just not entirely one sided.
