Yes, it was the two muffler system. The exhaust is called the Saab Sport Exhaust from Saab, it is not some name I made up to make people think "oh wow, this must be a cool loud Saab exhaust!"

Yes, it is the two muffler version. It is fairly quiet, but it is not like I made up "Saab Sport Exhaust" as that is what Saab calls this option. How crazy do you expect it to be when it is coming from a large auto manufacturer?

Doesn't white smoke mean you have a bad turbo? Or did I hear that wrong? Sounds great though!

@jrodigan5 you heard wrong. black smoke is bad, white smoke is usually just an indicator of cold temperatures. I suppose some failing turbo's could make white smoke depending on what they are made from and what is wrong with them.

@samsamsamsamsamaaaaa if an aluminum turbo is broke in some way it makes white smoke but the way to notice that is that if it was the aluminum turbo then it is alo and i mean ALOT more smoke. and i have the Aluminum Turbo so i should know. it has been broken a couple of times as it is high-performance and i tend to take it over its limit.

I Have An Evo And Its The Lancer Evo 8 And Im Getting This Noise Thats comeing from my engine but i dont know where from my In car computer is saying theres an engine error and i've kept it off the road just incase and im useing My Wife's Supra does anybody think they could help?

actually, it was about 30 degrees that day so it was really cold. that and i just got home so the car was still hot... i have a new TD04 as for the turbo, which is great my t25 had some bent fins and the waste gate couldnt handle 24psi

Yeah cool pipe but I'd address that smoke asap. I'm sure the turbo doesn't appreciate being rev'd up like that if its bearings are shot... and neither will you when you pay a grand to get it replaced.

@Ichorid55 thats why people that wants high-end performance cars learn all this stuff themselves and that way it doesnt cost a fortune. because if you look at how much it costs att SAAB to change the standard turbo: about 10000 Sek and if i were to change it myself it will come to 1200 Sek. and Sek for those that doesnt know is Swedish Kronor as i am swedish and i dont know what that will be in dollars etc.

its a little better than standard, but i have a full non resonated 3inch turbo back exhaust that is 100 times better sounding than that

@ippusor there are 2 mufflers but you should get the Simons Exhaust is much beter and Cheaper.

thanks, yeah it sounds pretty good. ive got a genuinesaab intake, steering rack clamp and brace, and a 22mm rear anti roll bar. also, it has a forge twin piston bov as well. Im going to get a jakstollperformance stage 3 ecu, full 3" exhaust and a new intercooler

Sounds good! You should get a 3"DP and take out the cat converter. It sounds sooo mean!
