  • The inflictions in the kids voice annoy the living crap out of me.

  • @9Arc I would care more about spelling out a word correctly than mind someone's *bleeping* accent. Everybody has an accent somehow, but I see that not everybody can spell INFLECTION right.

  • using his stomach for to support the bowl in getting water?? O_O

  • i wish the dad's ring didn't get featured as a surprise filling for this.. ^_^

  • May i know if i can use my electric hand mixer in kneading the dough since i dont have a stand mixer?? how long should i use the mixer in kneading before knowing it's okay?? no more sticking on the sides of the bowl?? hope to hear from you. Thanks

  • how can i make the dough if i dont have a stand mixer.. electric hand mixer lang e.. how long kaya un before i can knead them?? thanks!

  • perpek narration! the best!

  • how bout siomao?

  • things that would make this believable. I'm sorry but there was a lot of mistakes. I've nvr in my life made this, but I do cook

    1) when measuring, you're supposed to level off

    2) i am confused about the yeast. Why on earth did you still mix it with the water if you still added the other ingredients, like flour? i know you'd still need to proof the yeast. If it's instant yeast, you can add it directly to the flour

    3) ok 13 tbsp!? It'd b easier if you converted it to cups, which is 3/4 C +1tbsp

  • @enchanteDREAMer01 lolzz nobody is perfect in this world......maybe he is not a chef......to do professional thing like chef...

  • @primorosa666 no it's not only professional that level's off.

  • @enchanteDREAMer01

Rude much? Not eveyone levels off when cooking. Many great cooks can do without it. Funny that you made a little list of things they did wrong. ha. Maybe you should have spent your time making your own little video to show everyone how perfect you are?

  • @kurruptkyootie ok how on earth is that rude!? That's the right way to measure it! Too much flour gives off too much gluten making ur dough tough! yea sure just give me a camera

  • i followed your siopao recipe and its very good...and i love the narrators voice.. you can be a TV jock.

  • <3

  • its good but the music is kind of annoying

  • really good video, my siopao rocked! my advice to the video? Lower the background music, other than that...really good instruction. Thank you for the lesson on making siopao!

  • Narration should be louder and more accurate than the background music.. afterall, it is the narration where we can learn how to make siopao and not through the music.. that's the essence of making this video right? think about it again.

  • lol my mom always mess up the dough

  • the narration is so cute.

  • fuck annoyin cant hear her the music is louder

  • No salt for the dough ? O_o Or maybe steaming with salt water ? hmm

  • I love these things! I've been trying to get my friends mom to teach me,but now i can learn on youtube. :D

  • This look so good, i went and bought some. i will try and make them myself. looks really easy..Thanks for sharing..☺

  • thank you for sharing this recipe, i make it today very good! perfect! you have a wonderful day!

  • hi.. why is that your dough don't have shortening or oil?. is it ok if there is isnt?. thank you <3

  • good vid but lose music!

  • i liked the narration lol

  • daughter and father tandem..that's awesome..well, you did a good job both of you.thanks for sharing..

  • Instead of pork, can i use the traditional chinese meat made fom kittens?

  • Bon appetite.

  • Question, regarding sugar, you said 13 table spoon of sugar??/ your video show 3, can you please verify, Thanks

  • @hjchin it was just cut/edited out, as was the 4tbsp of sugar in the pork filling

  • @hjchin ahaha yea thats too sweet,...for siopao xD anyway like this vid..

  • Myself and my oldest brother made this one night. Turned out really good since our mom use to make it years ago.

Gotta go to shop some ingrediens! :D

  • Great work! Last time ko napanood kung paano gumawa ng siopao was in 1980's, in a children's show called Batibot. Thanks!

  • Very clear and simple instructions. Thanks and mabuhay!

  • my moms from the P.I. and she LOVES 2eat siopao!!! But,she hasnt make any in a while..

that is why Im just wathching u guys making ur best dish!!!!And learnig at dsame time.MORE POWER 2d FILIPINO !!!!!

  • your video and details was good but your music is too loud and cant barely hear the voice over..and my other comment is how you fold the siopao at the end..you should have folded the siopao on the top not on the bottom.that is why you're not gonna have the nice fold on top like the real siopao.try to improve the fold so next time you'll have a better result.try to watch other videos here in youtube so you'll have an idea on how to fold siopao.

  • @cholosiento100 I don't know what culture you come from, but this man is making siopow Filipino style. They like to have a smooth seamless bun. Buns that are folded on top, have more of a tendancy to open while cooking, and tend to be Chinese steamed buns, not siopow. If you buy siopow in a filipino grocery store you will always see the seamless shiny tops.

  • @cholosiento100 that's Nikuman the Chinese style like Cokechiq says this is the Filipino style of siopao which is much larger than Nikuman.

  • Thank you for your video. Your explanations are so clear! Perfect!

  • MAMAMIA LEZATOZ

  • Wonderful! Thank you for the detailed information.

  • numnumnummnum

  • Mmm, I can smell that filling thru the internet.

  • I am eating siopao right now and it's fun to watch how it is done..

  • WOW i really do love this video, i'm philippino i live in the US and my dad moved back there. this made me miss him a lot and im going to make some with my boyfriend thanks to you guys!

  • icanthearanything

  • I love Siopao but have never tried to make it myself...now that I have watched this video, I might give it a try! Thanks!

  • Wow...this is probably one of the best video recipes I've seen. Very detailed and narrative, awsome! Can't wait to try this out!

BTW- Your music is even more interesting, you mind sharing your music?

Check out some of my videos!

  • Thats yummy..

  • Thanks for the recipe!! Have a good day! God bless and MABUHAY!!!

  • hahhaa ahak kasamok ba..anyways i tried this recipe, its easy and good..

  • how to make siopao sauce? is ur recipe still need the sauce?

  • ur too lucky to have a cook/dad!

  • FILIPINO PROUD!

  • u need 2 shut up coz i grew up here in New York and plus if your stupid enough that's how people spell stuff so shut the **** up *****!!! and i won the spelling you *******!!!!

  • "if your stupid enough that's how people spell stuff"

You just said that stupid people spell the way you do, implying you are also stupid.

The amount of spelling and grammar errors in your comment astounds me, yet you tell this guy "ur daughters english is so bad!". Of course, because like pdm1206 pointed out, your own isn't that great either.

Besides, everyone in that video speaks great English, so i don't know why you are making a fuss over it.

Great video; very informative and clear.

  • go back to your hole in new york..i bet you live in the zoo with all the other animals ..

  • ang ganda po ng mixer nyo :-)

  • Thanks very much! For all u critics out there where is your video?

  • ang gulo,.. "add garlic daw" eh mukhang asin yung hinalo.. nakakabaliw.

  • sabi nya garlic powder kaya parang asin kamo

  • sabi nya garlic talaga,.. at binalikan ko lang yung mga ingredients saka ko lang nalaman na garlic powder...ok.

  • it must be garlic powder

  • hahaha makabuang!

  • nice now everyone knows how to make Home Made Rice Buns Siopao

  • 3 dozen siopao's too much. how about for just 1 dozen?

  • This is why you should have paid attention in third grade mathematics! ^^

  • Yeah, just minus two thirds everything, right? It's really not that simple. Have you ever made roast pork buns? I'm not sure people in Morrocco are allowed to eat them.

  • Ha, my username is from the novel Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. XD It's misspelled, though.

I make siopao pretty often, but never in such big quantities. The rising and kneading times for dough, however, are pretty much constant no matter what kind of or how much dough you're making. You should be able to cut this recipe and use it successfully.

  • Very nice video, I can't wait to try making my own Siopao!

One question in regards to the music though! What was the song played at the very beginning during your introduction? 00:00-00:06 I believe.

  • I like the presentation style. It's like a mix of instruction, story book telling, and music. Good job !!!

  • Damn, that's a lot of work for a little siopao.

  • can u send me the recipe to my inbox please..ma mom wud like to make sum..

  • I love siopao too much, eaten too little.

  • thanks for posting this video one of the great way how to make sipao and its very clear information. take care...God bless you all.

    AM

  • Thanks for sharing. My kids like siopao and im going to try it! Oh yes, you hv a very good narrator! I like her crystal clear voice. keep it up, dear!

    god bless

  • why is it when I tried the way you made the dough, our dough is not good. Maybe I'll try it next time..

But nice video. It helps us a lot. We really miss filipno food.

    .Keep downloading..:))

    GODBLESS:))

  • how did it turn out? was it flat? In the video, they say to use luke warm water, but it works better if the water is between 90-110 degree for the yeast to activate and should give at least 10 minutes for the yeast to activate before putting the flour and other ingredients. Oh, and you should add the sugar to the water and the yeast, the yeast will activate better with the help of sugar. Hope this help.

  • philippines siopao plus mami or philippines style ramen,,.oishii yo!

  • why are you playing punjabi music for pinoy people?

  • i cant hear your voice the music is very loud

  • almost perfect but iv notice that the one who touches the dough has a ring, , it should not to wear coz germs are under on that ring and it may cause germs in the food...

  • the music is too loud!

  • y r u playin chinese music in the background we re filo

  • I'm black and want to learn how to make this too. Who cares about the music? It's great to learn about other cultures, right?

  • I am famishing to cook my own siopao and your the one who provides the step to step instruction on how to do it. Thanks for sharing!!! love your videos... hope to see more...

  • did you put 13 tbsp of sugar or just 3 tbsp thanks

  • your dough is nice but the way to wrap the filling and the dough is now very well. coz' you must take the sides slowly together while turning and your thumb pushing on the filling so the filling won't fall out your dough. but good try. you'll do it better while you keep on doing up to 36 siopao . practice makes perfect. thanks for sharing. love it.

  • Thank you for sharing. I played several times but I still have a hard time getting the exact ingredient. This will be my first siopao! Can you send me the ingredients please? Then I can follow the procedure on the video. God Bless!!!

  • 1. Never use the sink to wash sneaker shoes or clothes. Clean it clean water is clean water.

    2. Try bottled water or water filter pitchers. No clorine chemical water, and less 'paramecium' and germs. the clean faucet water is good.

  • sir can u pls send me all the ingredients pls?

  • what do u mean the dough is rising???

wat did u do in 20 minutes to make the dough rising??? heaten inside the oven??ryt??

  • keep the bread at 90 degrees for 20 mins and let it rise. the yeast does its job at this time by filling air in the bread and separating the gluten.

  • No. He just kept it inside the dough inside the oven to keep it away...

He just used the timer on the oven but he didn't heat it up

  • I really love to make siopao... if u have video of that for sale....

  • Your pronunciation of English is very good. Thanks for this video.

  • lol whats with the boombai music??

  • i don't mind the music too much it makes the watching experience a bit more exciting! but, the problem here is, it's a bit too loud that i cannot hear the narrator's voice.
