@313hummer It's better for 3D gaming because it handles OpenGL better. Thats all i can tell.

@SergeyLambin плагины есть в портах deskutils/cairo-dock-plugins, но подозреваю что ваш вопрос был о теме оформления - так вот тему я доделал сам - базовой была тема MacOSX в "Управление темами"...

It's amazing how much you got it to look exactly like Mac OSX Snow Leopard. I'm about to install PC-BSD's latest 9.0 beta called Isotope, It's based on Free-BSD and in fact really Is Free-BSD with all the good stuff that makes it easy for a desktop user already added in. For a desktop user coming from Windows or Linux, PC-BSD is the best BSD distro out there for ease of use in my opinion. I'm gonna try to find your Mac theme.

Wow.
It's amazing -- all the flak Gnome gets when referenced as a Desktop Manager for BSD -- how appealing Gnome has gotten over the years. As Gnome got more streamlined and optimized it started to flesh out and now this. Awesome stuff all around on this one and I bet the loud mouths with their conventional two cents wisdom will more than likely avoid this video like the plague.
BSD, Gnome and Cairo are looking to steam up the windows on the desktop shell home front. Keep these videos coming!
