As for some conspiracies I understand your rant. As for more recent events a person doesn't need to be there when that particular event happened. Documentation, eyewitness accounts, and scientific data can all easily be gathered and compared now. As for people lashing out on the subject itself, it just seems rather token that yet another entertainer has something negative to say about conspiracy theorists. @SomaScript the best proof re 9/11 is to do with the extraorindarily high volume of sell options that were taken out against only the shares of the airlines involved (but no other airlines) in the week before 9/11 by a brokerage with CIA links. This is a bit technical but if you understand financial markets you will understand why this is pretty much a smoking gun.

Other than that the failure to even mention building 7 in the official report is a bit odd, dont you think?

There are a lot of ignorant people spewing out conspiracies, because they were simply told and have not a clue about what they're talking. I for one, am a conspiracy theorist, to a degree. Do I believe everything that's been said? No. Mainly because I research things before I let it pass my mouth. It's true that this generation has no sense of education, which doesn't always mean you have to be in school. Just picking up a book and furthering your knowledge is education, and free!
