hm... could "everything is as it should" be the view of someone with the privilege to make music in a solar powered big wooden house? not that this would change the value of the music which I really like! what a beautiful guitar, too!
Michael, I am intrigued by your guitar. Stunningly beautiful and the sonorities are breath taking. I think it is tuned b-flat, e-flat, a-flat, d-flat, f, e-flat. Is that correct?
The body looks to be almost 6 inches deep. You must be using a custom assortment of strings. I'd like to learn more. Where do I look?
This song helps me fall more deeply in love with living, helps me feel closer to all I care about. Your music never fails to touch my heart, Mr. Monroe! Peace Out & Groovy~Timothy Cameron
One of the Allen-Wickler girls (my family in all but genetics) used this song in an animation video called "The Lollipop Tree" a few years ago. Ever since I first heard this song I've referred to it time and time again for peace and inspiration. It reminds me why I practice music and what's worth believing in. Thank you!
Saw you at the Lake Harriet bandshell a few years back. I actually spoke with your mom as we waited for the show to start. Hauntingly beautiful song and nicely produced video.
Opps....didn't mean to post yet... changed verse to " Take a lesson from the SUN " in two of the verses only ! If I might....love it as it is but would like to draw a bit more attention to the SUN for comp... thanks...Okay sorry for the multi postings... Thanks :)
Hey, I appreciate your kind words about my song and will contact you about use on your website. I am so into solar... I recorded this song on my SIMPLE LIFE cd in my solar powered studio! I'm not so into changing the words though, as the song is all about the trees. But take note of the credit to "sol the sun" in the first verse. (where would we be without her?}
Opps forgot to mention, My website is listed under Global Sun Solar, one word in website address. hope to hear from you.... Would really like your song tom open my webpage if you would allow it...thanks again!
Michael might I ask your permission to use this song of yours as my theme song for a small photovoltaic company I own? I would love to use it if I can, thanks great song...very well played and written and sung thank you for sharing, beautiful place as well...
Great song, splendidly recorded! Although I would have liked a bit more eye contact with the camera...more can be communicated that way. Is that zebra wood on the sides of your guitar? And what tuning is that? Root in C?
Wow, what an amazing song, movingly performed and beautifully shot, I'm pretty much in awe of this video. Really pretty darn oustanding, thanks for sharing :)
Thanks Michael and Deb, loved seeing this video of you in your cabin. Super song and nicely done! Such a great video that captures so much of what is special about you. Your friends Rodger and Jenny from 318 Club
