  • Young Frankenstein is closing on January 4, 2009! See it!

  • I saw Young Frankenstein on Broadway in November it was just so great! I totally agree with everything you said, my personal favorite number has to be "the Brain" though, its just so witty and fun.

Great job on the review btw. And ur so lucky u got Megan Mullally's autograph i would kill for that! lol

  • I really liked Fred Applegate as the Inspector but especially as the blind hermit. He's the funniest!

  • If you haven't seen the show, get out and see it!! Megan's last day is August 3rd.

  • Just saw the show with my boyfriend in May. The effects are good. The first act made me almost fall asleep (was really tired and I found it a bit boring sans "He vas...", the 'tits' thing, and "Roll in the Hay". The second act was hilarious and really was very tight. I felt the best part of the show was Andrea Martin while the worst was Roger Bart.

  • Roger Bart also played Carmen Ghia in the film version of "The Producers" FYI

  • Good job, thanks for the review.

  • I have a bootleg of the show...and I know its amazing but is the tech better than Dracula? I know the show sucked but the tech was AMAZING! Nothing compares to the stake going through the guys back...omg!

  • I saw your review some time back and you were RIGHT ON TARGET! I saw the show in NOV., it was fantastic. Got some great pics with Roger, Shuler, Andrea & MEGAN! I admire Megan like no other. Hope everyone has had the chance to purchase the YF cd of iTunes! I hope many more get to see the show, worth every penny and hope the cast is nominated for some Tony's!!

  • You do a great job with musical reviews, first of all!

Second of all, I can't want to see this show. I'm going this coming Thursday night with a couple friends who I can't WAIT to meet in New York. (I think every one of my video blogs mentions it.) I'm so glad you liked it. I'm so excited!

Thanks so much for posting this.

    M

  • First- Im so jealous you got to meet megan mullally i went to YF november17th at 2pm but she didnt come out afterwards :(

Second- YF was amazing. It was my 1st time in nyc and i loved it!! How did u like the preview sitting in the front row??

  • Front row is so cool, there is nothing in betweent the actor and yourself, its like they're performing just for you!

  • thats so awesome, im glad you had a great time :)

  • Umm you didn't mention Sutton Foster, and she was amazing. First of all most talented singer on the stage, by far. and then to be able to move her body the way she does. she's just a step above. Everyone else was amazing too, but Sutton is in a class on her own.

  • i'm seeing this show on november 21 and i cant wait ive been goin around tryin to get clips and urs made me wanna see it even more. im sittin front row of the balcony but still good seats

  • Ok, so first of all, Gene Wilder is mentioned in the ENCORE! program. It's just written really samll so no one can read it. You didn't mention Andrea Martin either! She is soooo great in this! Yeah, that all

  • i'm currently trying to convince my mother to let us go to new york over spring break, cuz i REALLY wanna see this

you didn't talk about sutton foster! she is liek, my favorite! how did she do?

  • what night did you see the show?

  • um, Roger played Carmen in the movie too. Just telling you that.

  • even though ill never get to see the show cause im in england and way too poor to fly out and see it, im so disappointed that Megan Mullally (rhymes with Sally) is barely in the first act. She's got such a great voice and her albums are great - plus she's done broadway before. She did How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying with Matthew Broderick in 1995

  • Yah Megan is a great singer - good work Sherlock. She's had three cds of her own. Seriously, you need to do mucho homework if you're hoping to get anywhere in this kind of business. And yea, Mullally rhymes with Sally.

  • Excellent. I can't wait to see this show. I'm going on January 10th. Front row as well. It's a shame you didn't get to see The Producers onstage. It was brilliant. I saw it one too many times. =D

  • Courtney Young, Jim Borstelmann, Sarrah Strimel, and Kevin Ligon are the ensemble memebers who were also in The Producers.

I doubt it will surpass The Producers for Tony Awards (twelve was the correct number, btw) but it's gonna take some for sure.

Roger Bart definitely will take one. <3

  • Roger Bart won for best supporting actor, not best actor.

  • Good one, thanks for correcting me! I'm doing a follow up video soon so check back!

  • her last name is pronounced mullally.... it rhymes with sally

  • ok blew up a bit in the comment before. but yes i'm looking foward to see this. thanks for ruining it for me. lol jk. they said that in new york they were going to bring the song "Alone" which is Megan's. the puppets kinda sound funny. who is that?

  • The giant puppet is a joke I think of Fiddler on the roof, in the dream sequence in that show, so theres a big Frankenstein puppet in the dream in this show. I do apologize for the name mis-pronunciations, and for her broadway show history, I will try harder to get my facts better next time. ALso I didn't mean to be a spoiler, I just wanted to begin exactly this, lots of discussion. SO I'm satisfied, even if it had a cost at my own expense! Thanks for posting!

  • oh wow that was from fiddler. omg i was in fiddler in the suumer and i was fruma in the dream sequence. its ok but yea we kinda got offened i mean she like our freakin idol. but dont worry about it. thanks for explaining.:)

  • hey u with the face get ur facts straight!!! Megan was in broadway before grease and H2$. and pronounce her last name right.

  • Get your facts straight!

  • AHHHH

    i love your wallpaper,lol

  • megan has done 2 other broadway shows you can see stuff from how to succeed in business without really trying on here. She played rosemary the receptionist and she did Marty in Grease too

  • You Do know that Megan Mullaly was a Broadway start before will and grace, right?
