Well you can't say that Barnes was on top of his game that day. Shit happens sometimes. Plus there is still the fact that despite it being a men's tournament, bowling is a game in which women aren't innately disadvantaged versus men. In football and basketball, their height and inborn physical strength would limit them. However bowling is more about accurately and consistently placing good shots in addition to good technique, not so much speed, power, or stature.

They should keep stats on choking in TV Bowling Tournaments and there is NO DOUBT Barnes is #1 when it comes to choking. This guy is a total choke artist and I would say the #2 Choke Artist is Randy Pedersen.
