Noun. The belief that pursuing one's own self-interest, while shirking larger social responsibilities, is still somehow humanitarian.
Libertarianism is how the advantaged describe their neglect of the les-advantage: they're "protecting everyone's freedom" by respecting the impoverished's right to be poor.
@mobydick789 I don't have any social responsibilities. Everyone has to look after themselves, it's not my job, and it definitely isn't the government's job to take care of "social responsibilities" Can you even point to one place where it even says that they have the authority to do that? As for advantaged, I'm far from it, I lost my job due to the collapsing economy run by people who believe like you do and now I'm homeless. your assumptions are ludicrous. Handouts dont help the poor either
Oil for people's lifes? Come on! No matter if it was an american or a iraqi, lifes had been lost and that is a great disaster. I admit Saddam was not that at all good, but war? Bush had to cut education and health care funds to fund another war. Which government ever in the history of USA did that?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Bush is a patriot at heart. The world is running out of oil fast. The oil men have been sounding the alarms for years. For every 9 gallons of oil used, only 1 new one is found. By invading Iraq, America now controls and privatizing 115 billion barrels of the reserves under Iraqi soils. US oil corporations will benefit. Americans will stand to benefit from this for the next twenty years. The NWO can wage more wars to uphold such liberations. And even start to create the 1st global empire. :)
hitler was also a patriot, so was musilini, mao..etc..btw.. by invaiding irak: petrol prices have raised up with about 2.5 dollors, rice and other imported food is harder to get in US.. and dollors value is now on bottom of ocean..2 euro use to be 1 dollor now is 2$=1euro.(not exact values)
if a he is a patriot.. hell i dont whant any of then in my country..
only thing that have gone well from irak war was HIS OWN tank and weapon company that he got 1 week before the war
use proper language, and the euro has been higher than your dollar before bush came in, get smart... food prices increase because of inflation and are harder to get because of bad crop overseas not because of the war... Bush's decision to invade iraq was wrong but his intentions for ridding og terrorism is and alway will be honorable, im not a fan just a realist and man who has done research from the beginning to formulate an opinion not influenced by others
Proper language? have i insulted anyone? If you are referring to my english, so sorry English isnt my native, but didnt you find anything better to point out? As it goes for costs.. Euro had same value as dollar I know cause I was a europan living in USA who had exchange all the time. Although, why didnt we in Europe problem with importing food etc.. You are brain washed mate.. your whole country is falling apart..just look at your car industry. and what teorrorism?
i always get tears in my eyes when i see NOT all americans are easy, blindfolded fools.. not a muslim or american my self.. going to irak was violation of a international law and bush should be court martialed. i belive he realy screwd USA, insteed of invest and kill youth from both countries he realy should support poor ppl in usa.. if he invested 1/1000 of all the wars cost on catherina..catharinas victoms would live as paris hilton now.. good bless u awaken ppl.. nice video
I saw on one of these videos by Glen Beck, Ron Paul supporters are being called Terrorists, because we don't go along with Govt. Can you believe that crap? We are voting for the man who can get Americans and the World out of this mess!
You can see the disdain for the American public in Bush's eyes. What is even more pathetic is that he thinks the population is as stupid as him that's why he's talking to the American people like they are a bunch of 5 year olds.
Or.. maybe Americans are that stupid and deserve to be shitting in buckets and standing in soup lines. Cause that is their future if they don't elect Ron Paul.
Some Americans do it seems. I keep trying to inform a 76 year old Korean war vet(who has all these mugs that say: "freedom is not free")about what all is happening and he just doesn't care. Let them ban guns he says. It makes me sick. It seems that many people have forgotten what this country is all about.
You know that little bumper sticker "Freedom isn't free" well its fuckin true. True in the sense that freedom is NOT free. There's a price, and it's not your tax dollars its your very soul. Any conscious person can see right through this government. NONE ARE MORE HOPELESSLY ENSLAVED THAN THOSE WHO FALSELY BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE FREE> VOTE RON PAUL 2008!! GIVE THE REPUBLIC BACK TO THE PEOPLE
Had we followed the advice of the Founding Fathers, had we kept our hands out the buisiness of other nations, had we kept our hands out of someone else's cookie jar, we wouldn't be hated by half the world. If you don't get the message of this video, that the founders warned us against this, then we will be doomed to destroy ourselves through immoral imperialism
I repectfully disagree with that. The Founding Fathers advocated a non-interventionist foreign policy. They say we are spreading democracy through the world. Why would we do that, WE arent a democracy. the founding fathers LOATHED a democracy. Thomas Jefferson said democracy is mob rule where 51% vote away the rights of 49% of the people. It's time to THINK FOR YOURSELF and stop letting the TV think for you
If we choose defeat by giving up and retreating now, even if we are able to avoid attacks at home, we will be back in the Middle East within 10 years facing a much stronger and emboldened enemy with WMD at a cost to the United States in lives and resources hundreds of times higher than at present levels. Victory in the Middle East will be much less costly in a slow deliberate struggle over a long run.
