I don't think that B hand you show is "natural" for most people. It involves an extension of the pinky SEPARATELY from the other fingers and therefore requires more "work" (in a physiological sense). The closed-finger B or a "4" handshape is MOST "natural" and easy for people, from a physiological perspective. There has been research on this -- what handshapes are developmentally and physiologically "easier" than others.
WOW! very interesting about "B" hands! My hands showed "B' like yours...I didnt realized about it til I saw your vlog. I will check it out on Ridor9th's vlog about "B" hands...
Tar, great vlog. i couldn't have said better about "People like OLois" than this. And about accepting with poking, prodding, examinations, and whatnot, will they panic when second wave of oralism is coming soon. You bet...they will.
I shared this vlog in facebook and twitter for all to see what you're sending your message across
Of course, my "B" is just like that sometimes...depends on my emotions, facial expressions, etc.
lol.. That's interesting about fingerspell B. It is very true that we use index finger a lot in sign language. I completely understand what you meant about people like Olois. I do not watch her vlog at all. I am very choosy what to watch ha.
You made this Vlog on my birthday so I think I will take your advice. Smile :)
