I too have had a slight problem with using soundpacks. For example, I have the same "BITCH--I love you" sound when a medic heals an engy, but for some reason I only hear the "BITCH" part. This cut-off happens for a few other sound clips as well. Not sure what it is.

The sounds cut off if in-game sounds are played after it. Like playing the thanks sound when "That voice" (as i call her) is counting down the start of the round. You only here the first part of it. but if you are still having problems with the sounds, you're probably playing on an sv_pure server.

Yeah I've figured out most of the problem. Turns out that un-installing and re-installing the soundpack has fixed it.

Great stuff. I've got a bit of a problem using the sounds though. In the game, the sounds seem very slow. Are there any settings that I need to apply or adjust before they work properly?

The sounds won't work if you play in a server with sv_pure, that might be the problem.

The Soldier voices, crit sounds for the Rocket Launcher/Shotgun/Flare Gun, draw sound for the Minigun, and crit sound for a launched grenade are all from the Metal Slug series.
