The to idiots at the end just couldnt bare to split up and let you through. I have a tandem with my daughter. v-brakes really stink, I need to upgrade to discs. Nice video.
the thing that i really like about the ebike setup,i have a bum left knee, and sometimes i need the hub motor as an assist, you did a fantastic job on the video.keep up the good work
I made a mistake and got a new aluminum bike for my electric conversion, they far too stiff, vibrations go directly to the hands, the old steel bikes are far better.
Be careful if you have aluminum forks, I understand they will stress crack and come apart. You haven't had fun until your front tire comes off at twenty mph. You may want to go get a cheep steel one at walmart, costco, etc. They really are a hoot.
Thank you for your comment. by the way I'm still having fun on it.
I have the electric hub on the rear wheel so hopefully it will stand up until I can find a steel bike (no walmart here in oz, but keeping eye on ebay). However. just might lash out and get one of them recumbent LWB ("lightfoot ranger"). Yes I'm finding the same, very enjoyable, hardly use the car now. Nice Video, thanks for sharing.

Just released by Sanyo in 12-1-08, Eneloop powered electric assisted bicycle. It switches automatically to recharging mode when it goes down hill.

I just found out they have previously introduced Li-ion version. It probably cost more.
