  • Before I watched this video, I only caught on the the McDonalds reference.

  • @TheLegendaryJames In my case, that was the only (as well as the Star Wars one, due I had never watched the esalogy before) I had not got.

  • what the hell man.if your going to show these references at least give us time to read the text.

  • If only Nintendo still had Rare.... then maybe we would get a 3rd game...

  • @professorgadd there's a rumour of it coming out on the 3DS or a remake of one of the first 2 and apparently Microsoft is okay with is as they think it will help boost sales or downloads of the first 2 off the X Box Live Arcade

  • @MitchellDodds17 There'll never be a new Banjo-Kazooie game, nor on 3DS or any another console. And I don't think the original on XBLA need help with sales, more Nuts & Bolts does.

  • @walecs2 if Rare felt like it they could. Microsoft doesn't have a handheld console so Rare are free to work with Nintendo if they feel like it I just don't know if Rare will because they seem happy making these shitty kinect games nobody wants

  • 1:54 Also not to mention it says... "It's a really RARE date" (rare being the company name for those who have lived under a rock for several years)

  • Where's the Aliens on Jolly Roger Bay? Kazooie asks if they want to phone home

  • @gamereviewerbr It was in Cameo part 1, by Thumbsupmaster.

  • Whats the opening music from? Sounds like Perfect Dark

  • lol six days later, anyways nvm, it was posted at the end of your video, thanks. =)

  • I like the music, where's it from?

  • in banjo kazooie if you go to the front of the ship it says Twycross England

  • you missed a few.

like the saber man (he said something about sabre wolf)

    the jetforce gemini posters

the fridge magnets in grunty industies

    the jinjonator

one of bottles's kids holds a dk doll

witchy world has alot of signs telling you about poor hygines standerds, pickpockets, and bribeing the authorites (a few theme parks actully do this.

    there's proberbly more

  • OMG great video and great music. It is really eerie and atmospheric and gives me chills of nostalgia.

  • You forgot about the guy Reffering to Motzart

The guy in Mad Monster Mansion where you match the keys and stuff and his names Motzand just sayin' you forgot him.

  • 1) These are all Banjo Tooie and 2) Why is nearly half the video just for the intro & credits?

  • @notveryathletic 1.) "Banjo-Kazooie" is more easily recognizable and refers to the series of games, the "Banjo-Kazooie" series. 2.) I admit, I made the credits too long to fit with the music, but they are just there for those people who are interested in seeing who helped with the video. If someone is uninterested in knowing, they can simply click out.

  • area 51 in banjo tooie wasn't in the space section of witchyworld, it was near the entrance, just saying

  • @RIPGLITCH That's right. It's a good thing I never said Area 51 was at that certain space section.

  • this is banjo tooie

  • @edward24561 It sure is! One of my favorite games.

  • YES

  • STOP AND SWOP?!?! WHERE?!?!

    LMAO

  • lol

  • Cool! :D. Thanks for posting the vid :D

  • Unsolved mysteries theme song.

  • Gorramit son, I looked at 'McJiggy's is a reference to McDonalds', and I just realized that you virtually cannot have anything start with 'Mc' without it ultimately being a parody of that creepy clown, with his Big Macs, and his Hamburglers, and that freaky bird, and that pile of purple jello...

  • Thumbsupmaster's songs in videos always freak me out

  • Witchyworld as a real theme park would be epic.

  • If you knew all of the pop culture references this vid would be a half hour long

  • OH GOD WHY DID YOU PLAY THE UNSOLVED MYSTERIES THEME. I had JUST gotten over having nightmares from seeing that show as a kid...

  • @MackenzieMcKenzie Hey, at least it wasn't the x-files theme!

  • Good song, fits the theme pretty well.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there also a Jinjo trapped in Area 51? The reference goes further, if I'm right.

  • I like this vidoe, cool song!

  • HEY BANJO KNOCK KNOCK

    Du-huh! Who's there?

    FUCK YOU THAT'S WHO! *nuke*

  • The "suck" and "blow" buttons: A reference to Spaceballs, maybe? As well as an innuendo. lol

  • these are all from banjo-tooie, not kazooie.

  • Uuuuuuum

    how is this cultural?

  • @marioluigi344 because it's referring to things that add to popular culture! dhurr brain. Popular culture not ethnic culture.

  • wuts the music called? its awesome

  • thumbsupmaster u are pro at that game..... lol

  • Shame Rareware decided they'd given us enough awesome games and went on to kill both the Banjo and Perfect Dark franchises after this they only made Conker and Starfox (a great Zelda rip off) then they were done.

  • If you talk to Big Al the first time with just Banjo and without Kazooie Banjo says that McJiggy's JiggyWiggy Deluxe is a culinary masterpiece, and Al says, "Oh... Maybe they're the second best on the island..."

  • its not the mcdonalds sign its just a jiggy turned onto its corner

  • wow... have you been reading some banjo wikis?

  • i love the unsolved mysteries theme song!

  • WTF?

  • 1:09 no #$%*

  • The people of Rare are in britaim why would they make a reference to a place in america that they dont even know

  • @NitronicTM *Britian also, It's not hard to research places. I live in Scotland. >_>

  • @rork131 if you're going to correct people on their spelling, get it right

  • TK-421, what is your status? In a box sir.

  • @IMMAMANNYPENG metal gear reference.XD

  • Wat about Van Halen? Their album 1984?

  • @BadEggOwner

It was a refrence to Rare since it wasn't only their founding date, but Sabreman, who also had a cameo in Hailfire Peaks, appeared back then.

  • you should do a video like this with conkers bad fur day.

i think that would be at least 1 year of video material xD

  • you are awesome. thumbsup/fav/suscribe. :)

  • just becouse your name is thumbsupmaster i had to give you a tumbs down lol

  • @sllide You are not worthy to even be in his presence. He is one of the best Youtubers around,.

  • @sllide and therefore i will rate every vid of you thumbs down ;)

  • @sllide You would suck.

  • Although I could be wrong I believe the "DANGER 1000 JIGGYWATTS" sign in WitchyWorld may be referencing Back to the Future's gigawatts? Either that or gigawatts aren't just science garble from Back to the Future lore and I was too misinformed to know :p

  • @Palmerifics I tought too.

  • i always loved the mcjiggy's joke lol

  • Interesting. But about as pointless as your Banjo-Kazooie Rated E? video.

  • is great

  • mcds hahahhahaha i new that one wen i first played bt lol i was like i want some mcds for supper

  • the mcjiggy reference is SO obvious

  • mcjiggy's i obviously knew was mcdonald's the first time I played banjo-tooie. It was all too obvious of a reference. What about Jiggy King? maybe Wenjigs? Dairy Jig?

  • "But you're supposed to be a merry old soul."

How could you forget the most obvious one in the game?

  • YOUR VIDEOS ARE THE BEST!

  • you missed the other refrence to twycross england in rusty bucket bay. It says it on the back of the ship.

  • Loved the Banjo-Kazooie games! I think it's cool also cuz I was born the year 1984 :)

  • I've never noticed that area 51 reference. But it's pretty cool!

  • thumbsup, you, are, AWESOME your the greatest youtube person i`ve ever met

  • Dude, you are a moron...

  • thats all?

  • i looked everywhere, but i cant find McJiggy's :'(

  • @kabuto335 lol XD what about Kazooie fried Jiggies?! (KFJ)

  • @BKLover360 oh yeah, how can u miss that? its rite in the middle of Cloud Cuckooland

  • nice use of the unsolved mysteries theme i watched that show alot i even have all of the dvd collections they took the new version off the air for some reason

  • When Banjo wakes up one morning, he finds that his slave girl, Tooty has been assassinated by a cross-dressing white supremacist named Gruntilda Winkybuttcrack.

Banjo then calls in his bird-like friend, Kazooie, to levy heavy taxes on the south (aka beat the shit out of 3D-generated talking gorillas and annoying-as-shit moles). Most of the rest of the game is spent gathering "energy" needed to defeat Hemming's killer, by garnering illegal drugs and snorting as much as possible.

  • unsolved mysteries theme lmfao irl

  • 1984 may also be poking fun at several events that made 1984 look like a distant future sate like George Orwell's novel called 1984, or David Bowie's hit song named 1984.

  • yea i think its probly when rare puplished there first game

  • Rareware was founded in 1982.

  • i no thats wat i said

  • rare wasnt found in 1984 it was realy found in 1982

  • COOL!

  • let's not forget that 1984 might also refer to the novel by george orwell...

  • ThumbsUpMaster your on my top ten youtube users

  • i always thought that 1984 was referring to the birth of mario

didnt no rare was made at that time

  • y not make more vids

  • Another interesting culture reference in Banjo-Tooie; The witchy world theme is incredibly similar to the intro to the Bealtes song I Want You(She's so heavy). In the movie Across the Universe, the beginning was also played during a circus section of the movie.

  • love the vid but i have one that you missed :P

in glitter gulch mine there are boxes behind bullion bill in his house that are labeled "guff beans" i am interested in the "guff" because it is beleived that when the guff is empty the appocolyps happens... i dont believe it but i found it and thought it was pretty cool

  • is the xbox arcade version the same exact version as the n64 1... besides being enhanced a little?

  • Yep.

  • dude, ur videos kick major ass

    keep it up

  • scary music

  • The Unsolved Mysteries theme. :O I recognized it right away. That song made the show 10x times creepier than it was, which is saying something.

Loving the cultural references. Especially the Area 51 reference.

  • What show?

  • ...Unsolved Mysteries.

  • Oh I see now i thought the song was called unsolved mysterys sorry im a moron some times.

  • FFFFFUUUUUUUUU!!! I remember this song! it creeps me out!

  • what video editing program are you using?

  • Not trying to be rude, but a retard could figure the mc jiggys and area 51 thing

  • And to think I was a real Star Wars fan and I never noticed the TK-421 thing.

    =[

  • no duh mcjiggys is a parody of mcdonalds

  • unsolved mysteries!

  • Pay close attention to the shadows starting at 1:44

That's an N64 game? That's better than most newer games!

  • 0__0 my moom?

  • 1984 is also a novel.

  • 1984 is also the name of a Van Halen's Album

  • I didn't know that- thanks! Orwell is the most obvious reference though.

  • tk-431 reminds me of a gun ak-47

  • McJiggy's is obvious!

  • when i saw 1984, i thought of the book written by George Orwell.

  • Although it's not in-game, there is a reference to the Wizard of Oz on the back of the Banjo-Kazooie game box.

  • "Action, Puzzles, and Bears, oh my!" I never knew that, thanks for sharing that. :)

  • No problem :D

  • how ironic

  • I think this chain letter is connected to Sns...

  • oh...

  • @GoddessofHyrule

Man I am so stealing this, I'm sorry I just know so many people who need to read this and stop spamming the hell out of the videos I like

    Mumbo says:Buy Viva Pinata

Two parts of veichle: Licktoad (Viva Pinata) - Mr.Pants (It's Mr. Pants)

Disc in Logbox 720: Mr. Pants, Viva Pinata, Banjo-Kazooie Banjo-Tooie.

L.o.G mentioned Jet Force Gemini, Killer Instict.

  • Please do a vid on the Jinjoes referring to the DK crew!

  • ugh scientology music scares me

  • Excellent Effects on that intro

  • I was only aware of the McDonald's parody before I watched this.

    Good video.
