Behests are how you send your adventurers out to do something for you. You might have them go and get research materials, explore a dungeon or defeat a boss so that you can unlock a new type of building. This also moves the plot along.

The game is great get it, the add on contents are just there to add a few more levels and stuff

Game is 1500. Game with all DLC is about 3800, I believe. Basically you get some costumes for a dollar each, you can get the "triple race pack" for 800 points which lets you bring in citizens specialized for certain jobs, there's a few things to make the game easier (build bigger houses, build more of something), the infinity spire which lets you not have to finish the game and still have a challenge, a feature to add a jukebox. That's pretty much it.

Game is perfectly fine without DLC, though.

You don't have to pay to build/get money. You can play the game without paying extra Wii Points. You have to pay WP to get additional races (I'm pretty sure the default race is Clavat) and to get the kings and his subordinate different costumes. (I don't mind their default costumes, but a lot of my friends do. The costumes are about a dollar, so I'm sure that adds up. As for the races, I think that one was 300 WP? :\)

It looks kinda boring.

Then again, it's probably one of those games that you can spend hours playing, but is extremely boring to watch (like Harvest Moon).

Still, I think I like the other Crystal Chronicles games better... You don't even get to leave town in this one, do you?

I think this game is great, I just love the idea that in a Final Fantasy game I don't fight and instead I pay Wii Points to build a town that has no significance whatsoever.

Its a great game but I wasent expect SIM CITY when I bought FINAL FANTASY I beat the whole game and I feel unsatisfiyed and somewhat ripped off. I wanna go kill shit in FF not manage a town! I would buy sim city if I wanted that! The description on wii shop channel did not make note of this!

Yeah I recommend it. It's fun trying to build up your own kingdom and army of people. There is also a story as you play on through the game.

yeah me too i think im gettin it today i have already a lot of vc games & lw this will destroy my wiis memory also how much is the downloadable content i hear 100 to 300 but never the exact price and how many blocks does downloadable content take. last point card i got bonk 3 to hold me off until wiiware released then i got lost winds so i have 400 points but im still curious as to how much. anyway my wrist now hurts cuz thar was a huge comnent and im on my wii internet channel
