Don't let the finger tapping (aka hammer ons) fool you, Angus Young did that in his teens on the 74 jailbreak record, before EVH and Vai, also keep in mind when EVH came out in 78, (And this is 82) his style was evolved already, would be difficult for him and Vai to rip off each other in the formulative years especially since they are from different coasts. Seems Vai had the best master classes!! Zappa's overall talent kicks both their asses!!
