Can't say I can disagree, other than to say I stopped watching a lot of his stuff because there became too many characters. I loved Chipmunk chick, and a few others, but it got excessive with the characters and boring with many of them. He should have continued what he started to do, the RealMorbeck channel, and used that to post this stuff.

Morbeck is just the most visible trainwreck of past youtube celebrities, none of the originals have kept their status, most don't make vids now, its sad

I never cared for morbeck personally. I remember when I first came to YT. I subbed to all those horses asses. Morbeck, renetto, boh3m3. After a small amount of time, it occurred to me that I loved (and still do) the not popular channels. I just get more from them. I have and will unsub to people who become popular in fact. I'm weird, I know.

I used to LOVE Morbeck: his parody of EmoKid21Ohio (remember him?), Norna, and his female characters. I remember for a while he had a Stickam chat room where he stopped sleeping, then went to rehab, then claimed he had become a straight Mormon, and by this time I had lost interest. I think the man has most likely been clinically insane from the beginning, and it's sad because his early videos were amazing.

i knew something was wrong the day i clicked a morbeck video, and noticed i could see the entire whites of his eyes surrounding his cornea. My grandmother always told me thats what you watch for to see if someone is crazy. I couldn't stop watching his videos though. Like you said. Train wreck.

I remember Morbeck, it was hard to tell if the breakdown was real or not-there were all kinds of rumours. I remember watching him on stickam a couple of times when he was there 24/7-that was the beginning of the end. Last time I saw him, he was getting hardly any views-no comments & I wondered myself how he lost it so badly. He DID thrive on his 'fame', I think he really needed it. It's quite sad really. I never did subscribe to him though.

He used to be pretty entertaining with his characters.

You nailed it, I guess. A few months ago I finally unsubscribed from his channel, because as you said... I was embarrassed to watch him. My biggest guess is that the prescription drugs caused him to lose inspiration from his character-variety show.

I'm pretty sure his parents entered him in the institution when they saw him dressing up in drag for his videos as well :/

It's sad to hear this stuff, but in a way it's reassuring (odd choice of word, I know) to know that not all of us have our shit together all the time. I like some of the popular youtubers, but I enjoy the smaller not so popular ones too because they're more real to me. All the popular youtubers try to keep us interested so we will watch their videos and up their view count and their sub count. They're scripted and fake yet sometimes entertaining. But you talk about real life and who gives a c ra p ifanyone likes it or not. ;o)

I loved his characters and his vids were so creative. So many people wanted to be on Chipmonk chick's memory board and sub'd. And he'd get comments from haters and his fans jump on them. That helped keep his comment numbers up. My favorite comments were from people who loved "CC" and then realized it was Pedro under the wig. "Dudes thats a dude!"

He really seems to have lost his creative edge and he naver really developed a relationship with his sub's like you have so people haven't stuck with.
