This level all depends on how you choose to build your army in the preceeding levels with Faramir. A better way to do it is to have one half archers and the other half knights and use your knights when Mordor first arrives to destroy the 2 camps as soon as they put them up.

@GeneralNX hmm i cant help u with ur problem - but might be the demo version thats wrong. but i know that bfme 1 can work - just played the minas tirith level xD awesome - gets all the chills like in the old days playing it. if u havent got it yet, u should.

however ive had alot of problems with the second on windows 7, either theres is something wrong, or im doing something wrong. otherwise try a demo for bfme 1 if there is one ^^ gl

Make sure you use elven terrain or whatever it's called just outside your gate it will remove the enemies leadership bonuses just as they get into your range.

I think they should make BFME 3 and make the grapics, gameplay, create a hero and the maps better becuase the castles from the films like helms deep and minas tirith are really sort of stubby and it looks kind of weird. Also i tkink that they should make the units more relistic becuase even on the second game on highest grapics there faces look like blocky blurs and i think that can be inproved but still im going to buy the first one becuase its gamesplay is better on the campian

Why don't you use your power points on reinforcements? If you get the rohirrim the gondor campaign is easy and if you get the Ents by minas tirith you can easily destroy grond.

I found the firestone upgrade for trebuchets to be really useful here. They crush trolls and siege towers and such a lot faster with it. Personally I thought this level was not really hard, but my Faramir army was better suited for it- only rangers and archers fully upped- you don't really need the tower guards in this level since if you do it right the enemy won't get in melee range anyway.
